Interesting that Arkhan would be the one to worship Nagash when he’s the only one who really knew him as a mortal. But we have examples of that in real life too

Hi Doug, these are great! I'm not sure about the restrictions of youtube, but I think having ART that really reflects what you are talking about would really improve the quality of the videos. For example, a picture of the black pyramids when you are speaking of them. Maybe a shot of the tomb kings and a map of Khemri when you mentioned it. End goal if you can go for a presentation similar to ALT SHIFT X does for his lore videos. As for some suggestions - The Twins (Tyrion and Teclis) would be a great video Settra is a favorite of mine, but i don't think he's in AoS.

biggest problem is finding 15-20 minutes of art... its a lot of dead time. In addition to that, the more art I add, the more it kills my production time. In the process of building a new PC thanks to my patrons, but for now it's just not doable :/

In descriptions of your videos you should have a list of the books involving the subjects of said videos. Would help a lot. In chronological order of events preferably.

Aside from Settra (you should check him out if you haven't, by the way) Arkhan is my favorite Tomb King character, because of the sheer amount of depth that he has, certainly moreso than Nagash. The lore and the books that feature him flesh him out a great deal in terms of character development. He went from a degenerate wastrel and criminal to a more or less decent person with a conscience in The End Times. With a great capacity for love (as evidenced with Queen Neferata, it was said that though Undeath had dulled his emotional capacity, Arkhan still loved her deeply)

I would have loved if there was more things to talk about that Arkhan did. He is easily one of my favourite characters from the old world and I really do want to see him become more prominent in AoS too. He was, besides Settra, easily one of the best part of the end times imo. Its such a shame that there isnt more about him to talk of these days

Hello Doug, i have watched all of your lore videos. Great job, thank you! It would be awesome if you could do a video explaining how to read all the books that are out there in terms of the sequence. I saw recommended order on the blacklibrary website, but still can not figure out should i first read them or first i should read AoS campaign books or do it in parallel or....or...or... Also, like where to fit the Undying King that you have recommended - it is not listed in the recommended order at all, though a black library novel... So overall getting confused on how to structure the lore read...

The ghoul king in aos could be the dread king from the old lore. The dread king was the one who raised the black grail knights. My .2 cents.

2+Tough well the basic Lord that I managed to gather. Is that they live in Azyr, and act mainly as Messengers. Which makes them an interesting dynamic because they act basically as the communique for the Eldritch Council. And some icing from the fact that they're all Eagles and Griffins, you can assume that they're in the same area as the Vanguard Hunters. So fluffy wise they're kind of interesting. On a gaming note it erks me that the Skywarden model on Foot is NOT part of the Swifthawks, and is instead called the Seawarden...

Tony Zou to be honest I don’t think there is much lore on morghast, they’re basically nagash’s honour guard, and essentially a bunch of corpses formed to make one being, besides that, maybe there’s a more recent book about them? If you hear anything I’d love to know

Well back in End Times and Warhammer fantasy, the Morghasts were servants of a kemrian god Nagash killed. Then he brought them back as HIS servants and champions to be more loyal and useful than vampires were (Nagash had lost a war because of the vampires). In A.O.S, Morghasts are the masterpiece of Nagash art when he creates minions. Harbinders are his shock troops, Archaï are bodyguard of his lieutenants and/or himself

I look at it like this. We need more factions for death, that is obvious. With the Daughters of Khaine being in order, I have even more faith in the following. More and more characters are coming back yea? Manfred never really liked Nagash anyway, hence why the old world ended. However, if a certain pissed of Unserving Entity returns, he might be able to start a rebellion in the Death "Alliance" and start a splinter faction.

interesting question... I guess I'd say Skaven Pestilens or Ironjawz. Those are both great factions but their allegiance abilities come from the GHB2017 which may change in 2018, and while they are both cool and thematic, they generally only work effectively with some very narrow list builds. Keep in mind, Im just talking about competitive play. Both factions are incredible in the narrative scene and bring a lot to the table aesthetically.

Well, Neferata flirts with him from time to time in the Josh Reynolds novels, and he seems to flirt back on occasion, so they clearly have some sort of thing still going on. Point of interest: one of Arkhan's titles is "The lover of Night's Queen." Make of that what you will.
