Absolutely love AoW4 It’s unique even compared to other 4X games because of how customizable it is, and with the latest expansions it’s truly remarkable how much you can do Next expansion (last in season pass 1) comes out in June 2024 so it’s not long away! SO HYPED FOR ELDRITCH HORRORS Hahaha

Nice review! I've enjoyed the game and the clear inspiration it takes from Heroes of Might and Magic in addition to the Civilization series. One complaint I would add to the console version is that its frame rate is pretty bad on the Series X. The choppiness is pretty distracting as you are constantly zooming in and out. And if you opt for the 'performance' mode, it looks like a Switch game.

It's really sad Xbox has been lagging behind the PS for generations. Microsoft has multiple times the budget Sony does and yet cannot seem to figure out console gaming.

It's an interesting game, i enjoy Stelleris on Xbox Series X. However, im not paying $120 for a game I'm not sure I'll like. Why is there no option to just get the standard base game. Only the Ultimate version is available on xbox store and costs $120 CDN.

they would be fine on xbox if they fuckin added keyboard and mouse support, which the devs seem to refuse to do which i dont understand, especially considering that not only are these games built around it, but the console suppprts it. For example, Age of Empires 4 on xbox supports KBM, so its just like playing on PC if u use KBM which i do, and as much as id like to play games like this one, i absolutely refuse to play without KBM support
