Love them or loathe them, the dungaree and the boiler suit are definitely utilitarian. So given these times, they are comfortable, practical and, hopefully, stylish. Being a "shorty”, I always think they make me look longer... Anna is the mistress of the boiler suit. This week we show you how we style them. PLUS, an early glimpse of the West End Christmas lights... and I COOK!!!!!

I love a boiler/jumpsuit but the toilet issues put me off wearing them. Loved your tartan jumpsuit and although I agree that the last boiler suit is too big, you pull it off and it obviously makes you happy which clothes should do. Thank you for the London tour. Oh my Jo, before you even explained the lights I got emotional reading the Carnaby Street ones. Being an NHS worker working with a covid team and adding the same personal and family pressures we're all going through seeing the lights was overwhelming. Feeling so emotional took me unawares. Stay safe everyone, we're not through this yet. It's not a hoax, it's not a conspiracy, it's very real. 💕

@@nannybluebelle8643 that's so sweet of you to say but as I said, we're ALL heroes. Everyone is doing their bit to get hold of this terrible virus and get services (and lives) back to 'normal', whether someone is working in health or care, retail, education, transport or mail etc we're all key workers and those staying at home and doing their best to help contain it are wonder heroes also. There's no getting away from it though, it's scarier for us the second wave. We know what we're dealing with now, the first wave we worked on pride, skill and team effort. This time round, we're fatigued, stressed and we joke it's without the rainbows, free pizzas and hundreds of extra staff that were drafted in to our health board alone. Those colleagues left us in September, then covid came back, we started to hear how there was no money, management became secretive and grumpy again. 😢 Despite this, working in the NHS still gives huge job satisfaction and pride though, even now. Thank You for your good wishes, I hope you and yours stay safe and well. 🌈

Clissold Park means so much to me for many reasons and it was lovely to see the old house again. The cape, dungarees and boiler suit all looked good. I agree with Anna, the legs need taking up to really do it justice on you. You can still have the turn-up and get the full effect of it being oversize. Have a great week Jo.

Hi Jo love your blue cape I think wraps & capes are elegant. When you were walking through Oxford street I was remembering a time when I was a little girl and my Dear Mother took me to London to see the lights and then to Selfridge's to see Father Christmas it was so exciting By the way your friend was right eating in season is so much better for you I was raised that way and I too love a comforting bowl of soup stay safe

The socks with your high heels looks fabulous. That black dress, socks, and heels is one of my favourite looks on you. I find Retin A really helps with crepey skin on the arms. The ads Jo, why so many? I lost count at 7 or 8. I have no idea if you have control over how many adverts are shown with each video, but that many tried my patience. 😉 👋 🇨🇦

I loved the jumps suits they are such an updated look and look very chic on you. I can’t wear heels anymore (back problems) I must say I was very impressed and envious on how you walk in your heels, and in the rain too! So good to see Clissold park. I used to take my children there when they were little as we lived near there. Also spent many days there when I worked at a school, we did our sports days there. When I was a nanny before that spent many a day there. Many moons ago. I left london 10 years ago and live in Lancashire now so it is nice to see it every now and then. @@MiddleAgedMinx I'm about your size, a bit straight up and down - boyish? (slightly taller). I like to think I'd have suited the flapper girl look! I'd wear a belt with it because it fits you well at the top, maybe the body is a bit long so a belt would pull it up a bit (amazed as usually boilers are a bit short in the body). But it's great, though I couldn't take the legs rolled up as they would keep falling down. Used to rock a boiler suit in the 80's but now find going to the loo a bit chilly and awkward. You must have a strong bladder! I do like co-ordinates though that you can make look like a boiler suit, they are a bit easier to manage. Tell me about the fatless flab on the upper arms, and the crepey skin. Use body lotion regularly and put a good skin oil on top (seals in moisture). It's a constant battle against droop and dryness in your 60's. I am going to give up at 80 if I'm still around.

In our small town, I’ve noticed Christmas lights and decorations are out in full force much earlier this year than usual. People just need an extra lift this year and it cheers everybody up. On the flip side, so very sad to see people are still homeless in 2020. I dread to think this situation will not improve anytime soon.

I am seeing more homelessness in my city as well. The city has purchased a hotel to house the homeless as a temporary solution but I still see people sleeping on the street.

We too have a doggy pushchair for our 10 year old border terrier. She has been diabetic for a year now and has sadly lost most of her sight. We still walk her but any longer than 20 minutes she needs a rest so goes in the pushchair. Love the boiler suit on you. Looks fab. Also love your flat and the view from it. Very New York fire escape style.
