This band is so underrated. Genius. Thanks to Coheed and Cambria for taking them on tour with them.

I love the intermittent cuts to the studio, with Arnór Dan and everybody laughing and smiling - it just says something to me about how we aren't meant to live alone. When people come together - all of Agent Fresco, the orchestra, the engineers & the audience - they create something so profoundly beautiful and boundless that a single person can't hold a flame to. Thank you for the beautiful music, Agent Fresco!

+Ghost Iris Well while I don't exactly agree that they're the most original or engaging or emotional band, I do agree they're pretty damn good (and score pretty high on all those things). So are you, I'm impressed. But then again in this day and age, what can be original anymore? (Although I do think math rock and avant garde genres can get surprisingly close to original, like UneXpect, Dillinger Escape Plan and Dir En Grey among other personal favorites) Being creative on the other hand, anyone can be creative, thankfully.

Icelandic indie music is just the best. Agent Fresco, Mammút, Vök, Retro Stefson, etc. have some really amazing songs. How does such a small country have such a good music scene? It's a shame that more European music doesn't make it into the U.S. market very much like it used to.

@mikeh7733 Жыл бұрын
Good point. It is on the record and common knowledge that Lars is not a technical drummer. Twelve Foot Ninja (Australia) drummer Shane Russell is very technical and well versed in different genre. Check out their album Outlier with songs like One Hand Killing and Invincible as well as earlier albums like Smoke Bomb with Manufacture of Consent and Clarion. Tons of great idol worthy drummers out there.

Ok wow- much better lyrics! Thank you! Aging sucks- aging really really sucks and in ways you dont always hear talked about, you make sacrifices to your world view that help a lot but a sacrifice still means youve given up some small part of yourself and when you add up all those small parts all of a sudden sometimes a field full of dew doesnt lokk as vibrant as it once did, its not regret necessarily but a feeling about how great ot would be to just escape and let go and be innocent again even for a little bit- great lyrics. Destrier still sucks- unless im missing something- but im a fan #converted

Anyone with musical knowledge that can tell me what key/scale this is in? I have no idea about music theory but if I were to guess I'd say this is in major? Also what is that vocal melody at 2:29? As in what keys do I press if I wanted to recreate it on a piano. Thanks.
@PhilMyu4 жыл бұрын
I am not a pro myself, but trying it out on the piano, it sounds like the song is written in E Major scale. The chords mainly interchange between E Major (E G# B) and A Major (A C# E). The part at 2:29 is basically going back to the E Major chord with the melody starting at B (the long first sung note), then the chord moves to A Major and the melody moves up to C# D# and E. If you want to find out what notes those to press on the piano, look up a simple piano cheat sheet like this one: www.piano-keyboard-guide.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/12/Piano-Keys-and-Notes-Piano-Keyboard-Diagram-1-1024x576.jpg Hope that helped! :)

the band itself is tight and on point. i like the arrangements very much. However, this style falsetto in the same range every song is too much for me. I am a big Coheed & Cambria fan, as well as Rush, but those bands mix it up a bit and the vocals cut through instead of stabbing you with a dull knife. Too bad his range wasn't bigger to incorporate those lower octaves. If I want this kind of music, I'll stick with Coheed and the legacy of Rush . . .sorry.
