The man you asked if you were supposed to recognizec is Gideon Malick, he was a member of the World Security Council that Nick Fury answered to in the first Avengers movie, the ones that ordered the nuking of New York. The WSC showed up again in The Winter Soldier. Robert Redford's character Pierce was a member and took the others hostage when the truth was revealed. Malick was suspiciously abscent from the group at the time, presumably because he was already Hydra.

The person Strucker went to see is a returning character. At the moment, the character is unnamed, and was in their previous appearance. They are played by the actor Powers Booth. And he previously appeared in *The Avengers (2012).* He was the leader of the shadowy World Security Council, who was interacting with Nick Fury on the video screens. He and the rest of the Council launched a nuke at New York City, in order to stop the Chitauri invasion, which luckily Iron Man was able to redirect through the Chitauri portal.

Episode came out 5 years before Among Us. They didn't know what they'd unleash. It's actually a phrase from the Inhumans comics. Really good episode focusing on a lot of different parties and developments. Definitely feel for Hunter with the way everyone's treating him after his mistake. The old Hydra man Gideon Malik was actually first seen on the World Council (Nick Fury's bosses) in the Avengers film, taking a more detailed role here.

It was the easiest mystery to guess out of the whole series run…. But intentionally so. The show played with our expectation of them dangling red herrings and the villain actually had an emotional arc by the end

After MONTHS of being confident about things in this show that ended up being wrong, it was satisfying to see that you correctly saw the Lash reveal. I missed all the clues the first time around. On rewatch, the clues were all there, but I have to admit, I missed every single one! I salute you!

And now you know why Lash never hurts Daisy. Andrew got to know her well before he got his own exposure to Terrigen & he knows how much May cares about Daisy. So even if his instinct as Lash is to go after Inhumans, Andrew is able to override that.

There’s a video on yt about the bts in the lash transformation. They used CGI and a stunt double for Andrew’s Lash form so in more scenes with him it’s a guy in makeup and prosthetics.
@serenity4eva893 ай бұрын
Yeah, I also guessed that Andrew was Lash back in the day. But that's OK because as far as I am concerned... its the only time in the entire series a reveal was SUPER obvious. All the reveals prior and after, are either incredibly well-done (as you would expect from JedMo and Co.)... or the intention is that we know it but the characters don't, so it works in that way 😊

I felt bad for Hunter in this episode. Yeah, he put Andrew in danger, but he just got Ward's guys a ton of weapons that were going to hurt a lot more people, as he explained to May before taking the shot. Everyone was reacting emotionally. I understand May but when Coulson chews him out, even for a second, that bugged me. Ward is a very hard target to catch, and Hunter got the close enough to take a chance. Also, Hunter is built different. Casually talking about torture, shoot first kinda guy. Life of a mercenary I suppose.

I like how the damaged lung thing ties back when she is getting drowned in the pool sort of overcoming her weakness. Also yea im with Hunter on this one Ward is a massive problem it, it would be totaly worth it if he did end ward at that moment. As for Fitz im personaly not a fan of this plot line (sort of feels like tv writers have ntr fetish so a one pair having issues like those per show needs to happen) but overall he dosnt really have a much choice but agree with Simmons he cant tell her "no" since she would try to figure out her way there anyway even if he refused and then he would just have zero say in what happens.

CGI transformation of Lash, that's what I like about SHIELD, for a network television from 2015, it really holds up. It may not always be perfect but it's leagues better than some superhero shows coming out at the time. Hell, some of the CG in SHIELD are better than what they did for The Flash movie.

Usually, when you are injured a traumatic crash, or explosion, or accident, the EMTs take your cloths off to see if there are any open wounds, contusions, etc. under your cloths... They try and catch everything that might be wrong with you on the way to the hospital (or in this case, SHIELD HQ) so that the doctors and nurses can jump right in and do the work they need to do to save your life. You're usually covered by a blanket right before getting out of the ambulance to protect your modesty.

Don't bother trying to resist the Among Us call. It is a spy agency, after all, and the Marvel universe can get pretty wild. The new dwarf with cloaking is a great callback to the beginning of s2, when Fitz couldn't engineer cloaking for Coulson due to his injury. Now, he's got it miniaturized. You can see that his mind is back to its brilliance, but personality wise he seems more subdued than he was in s1. When he's not screaming across the universe for Jemma, that is.
