"Agents of SHIELD's" Brett Dalton Talks Ward's Death, Rebirth and Terrifying Transformation

In the first part of his interview with CBR TV, "Agents of SHIELD" star Brett Dalton discusses life after death for Agent Grant Ward, what's next for him as an actor on the ABC/Marvel series and how to dramatically change your approach to a character after several seasons. Dalton also touches on how much of the old Ward will remain in his performance as Season 3 ramps up into what he calls "NCIS: Inhuman Edition."

@@nikolinadobreva3078 oh so lots of people had abusive parents and a tortuous older brother that made them try to kill their younger brother and then when they were in juvie a pyschotic murderer bailed them out and became their mentor? Yes lots of people had a messed up childhood but nobody had a childhood like his, he became a murderer because that is literally what Garrett made him to be. You can't blame Ward for what his father figure and mentor taught him. Ward barely even grew up in the real world, garrett raised him in the forest.

Sorry what was your question again?" 😂😂 How adorable lmao I loved agent grant ward, ie pre Winter soldier ward... But brett's acting really REALLY shone as evil ward and hive. Just finished s3 and I'm devastated brett won't be in AoS any longer... But well he's probably already one of the longest surviving antagonists ever 😂
