It's baffling to think that they actually thought that Owen lacked charisma. He was regularly one of the most entertaining performers in the WWF. There’s so many questions to this case. I’m not sure if Vince McMahon purposely killed Owen but he certainly is at fault for his untimely death. It was his and Russos idea to have him come down to the ring from the rafters in a botched fashion and so they should have made sure it was 100% safe, but they didn’t do that. So they are responsible for his death.

@KyrieKirigiri8 күн бұрын
I don't have a concrete belief either way, but there was a ton of weird 'coincidences' surrounding the event. The Rock doing a mock funeral for Stone Cold in the lead up to the event (it is shown on Over the Edge as part of the hype package), Vince looking up to the rafters when making his entrance, the promo talking about pushing Austin over the edge, Undertaker's sacrifice promo, the fact that a pre-recorded interview was playing over when Owen was supposed to make his entrance, the fact that The Blue Blazer hadn't been seen in months as Owen was teaming with Jarrett, then randomly the Blazer returns the week before the PPV, being randomly put in an IC title match despite having nothing to do with the division whilst his partner fought Val Venis in a mixed tag (even though Godfather was Val's partner and there could have been a tag with Owen instead). That's not to mention the infamous 'IT'S ME AUSTIN' promo which happened two weeks after the PPV, almost like Vince was confessing to something else as well. Plus the whole Ministry going around sacrificing people including 'killing' Big Bossman live on PPV at Wrestlemania. If Vince did kill someone, he is 100% the type of person to gloatingly leave clues inside wrestling promos knowing no one can do anything about it.

Take this with the biggest grain of salt that you can find, but a wrestler that I used to know (who I should point out never wrestled outside of Australia but did have connections within the US) once told me that not long before Owen died, the Hart family were planning to go after Vince with a plot to take over the WWF. Vince had purchased Stampede Wrestling from Stu Hart but, much like he did with Janell Grant, he stopped paying. This was a long time ago when I heard this so I may have some of it twisted, but according to this wrestler, the Hart family had a decent chance of winning in court which could have ruined Vince McMahon. Owen was still under contract and, so the story went, he was taken out as a warning to the Hart family. Again, this is all stuff that I was told by someone who never met any of the Hart family or anyone closely connected to the situation, and it was about 15 years ago when he told me about it, so I'm not even suggesting that there's any truth to it. However, it's another story that is out there.

I always thought JR saying "Owen Hart has DIED!" was out of line, and was a subtle way to sensationalize the situation. Should have worded it like "The Great Owen Hart has sadly passed away after an unfortunate accident".
@nafiysamuhammad42089 күн бұрын
Not only that but that fact that the owner of the company didn’t feel like he should’ve announced that to the viewers watching!! That was on Vince not JR to do but we all know why!

JR did the best he could in that situation and better than probably almost anyone on the planet would have. Yes there’s things that should have happened differently that night but I dont agree JR is one of those things.

@@AgeOfWrestling I cannot wait until whatever the feds fine of him so that way he can go to jail forever and he is done and he is never going to get inducted to the Hall of Fame to the point where no wrestler not even Stephanie or Paul is going to be in his funeral because there’s a lot of stuff about him that they will find of him hope they will find some stuff maybe something to do with Chris’s stuff or Jack Tunny Ashley Massaro and so many other stuff that is connected the Vince that I think whatever they find of him not only he is done, but he could almost ruin wrestling to the point where a lot of people will not like all the wrestlers at first, but once they find out what he also been doing there’s going to be a lot of backlash on social media and I hope wwe will say that there will be no mention of Mr. McMahon tonight

There are a lot of things that are too coincidental. For instance in 2010 WWE randomly created a PPV called Over the Limit with EDGE on the cover. It took place May 23 2010. Once again, hidden in plain sight

@@Unknown19595 which really weird about bray death is that before Triple H may public of his death. TMZ news pretty much broke the news of his death and the fact that he went to sleep and then all the sudden he pretty much woke up, but then he couldn’t breathe in his face was all blue and all this other stuff. It seems like something must’ve messed up his heart but I don’t think it’s like anything weird or anything. He died of heart problems and I’m still upset over his Death to this day

To this day, Austin never speaks ill of Owen Hart. I think Owen was embarrassed at what he had done, given his family pedigree (he was a HART for crying out loud!). He should've be in more contact with Austin, but he wasn't, and Steve doesn't speak ill of it at all to this day. That's a class act in Austin the way I see it.

I’m a lifelong wrestling fan since the early 90s and I followed wrestling inside and out learning everything about a wrestlers lifestyle. To most fans we only see the character we see on Tv and assume they are happy every people which isn’t the case. This is why we have Dark Side Of The Ring and anyone like myself and many others know relationships between Vince McMahon and The Hart was exactly Kumbaya. An I myself and I’m sure many others think Owens death was suspicious and that Vince McMahon was responsible especially with recent events over that period of time. Also he never stopped the PPV and made it go on. If that had been one of the top guys at the time Stone Cold or Undertaker, The Rock would he have continued it? I don’t think so. Vince McMahon is responsible for Owen Harts death
