Adobe Fresco Free vs. Premium (Is paying worth it?)

So couldn’t the storage problem be rectified by an external storage device? Or does Adobe block that ability?

I’m highly dissapointed. The library of vector shapes i created in adobe capture are not showing in the vector shapes tool. Any idea why? I’ve rebooted and everything is up to date. I’ve when hidden the majority of brushes. I’ve found to explanation short of re installing the app at risk of losing the area I’ve already done.

If you have the free or $9.99 version of Fresco is there a way you can store your files on your iPad (if it has a lot of space) instead of in the Adobe cloud so that you won’t go over the 5GB fresco limit ?

They have an ios mobile bundle that includes ps fresco and desktop apps and a bunch of other apps plus increased storage for $14.99 a month I think it's 100gb of storage.

I would like to download or create my own vector brushes for Fresco. Unfortunately, I didn't find such an option in the paid version. Did I understand correctly that in the paid version you can only add pixel brushes?

i want to know how to get premium on windows. it's not showing an option. just keeps asking to do the 70 bucks a month (which is insane) for the creative cloud.

At one time there was an upgrade option for Fresco alone, I think it was $10/month. I can't find it now. I get the same result as you do, just upgrade to "All Apps". 😵‍💫

@davidr5847 I called Adobe and they said premium only comes with creative cloud. They said you can do it monthly or yearly but they can only do the payment over the phone for some silly reason.

Yeah, I ended up downloading fresco on an iPhone, and then signing up for the $9.99 a year subscription there. As long as you use the same Adobe account the access will be available on your windows app as well afterwards. If you don’t have an iPhone or iPad to at least temporarily put the app on, then I don’t think you can get it alone.

Isn't Fresco as of today (date I'm typing this) completely free now? All Premium features are now available for free.

Yeah! I saw the announcement yesterday. It’s exciting to see. It looks like the only upgrade plans left are those that include expanded cloud storage and a bundle with Photoshop on the iPad. I guess I should update this video 😅

I live in South Africa and i don't know if this is a regional thing or not but i have been trying to upgrade to a yearly plan for fresco, just the basic one, from what i can tell it's $9.99 a year. But i just keep getting linked to an adobe webpage that says "Sorry, we couldn't find that page". When i spoke to an agent through the chat service i was told it would be $119.00 + tax a year, which i queried and then to which they ended the chat abruptly. Has anyone else had this problem, because they are making it very difficult to go the legal route.

It’s possible that these pricing plans aren’t reflected in other regions. It’s not uncommon for Adobe to run different deals and pricing based on where you live. Sorry getting the pricing and everything was such a headache!
