@@laurenz6760 connected TCs will take some upkeep from the main TC in the core. And will stop the base from being griefed if placed correctly. Disconnected are just to stop people from building near your base - Disconnected TCs are essentially just external TCs

A Disconnectable External TC is useful if raiders destroyed the tool cupboard of the main base. The external TC will prevent raiders -- but also you -- from replacing that main TC. However, if you destroy the twig floor tile, the arm of the external TC no longer transfers its building privilege. You can then replace the TC of the main base and attach the twig triangle again once you are done.

flubby1982 I use Tuna Can Lamps because their yellowish light creates a beautiful, warm atmosphere. The electrical light is very harsh in contrast ... plus I prefer to leave the electrical circuits up to the viewers

Still basing in this thing.... still the best solo base in existence. Got raided by my clan neighbors last week. They didn't bring enough boom. They went to get more. Still wasn't enough boom. They got 2 of the 3 main loot rooms, but never got the third and didn't get the auxiliary rooms, which I had a lot of good tools & food etc in as well, so the raid was nothing but a minor inconvenience. Now their base is raided and gone and I'm still a permanent feature of the landscape. The base fits almost 4 days of upkeep..... So I can go work my back-to-back 12-hour shifts and still easily maintain upkeep for my base. Truly amazing base.

Used this base last wipe and my duo partner and I are absolutely in love with it. We built the version with the disconnectable TCs and a shooting floor from your streamable. Having a base that can't be griefed without destroying external TCs saved us so much time, effort, and loot. Our partially built base got raided and we were able to pick up and keep going with ease. Our fully built base was offlined once and we're pretty sure the raiders gave up after they took out the TC and realized they couldn't actually take over and secure the base to keep raiding and would have to deal with another loot room with garage doors and shotgun traps.

Worked like a dream on console. Stole an AK from a high tier player and they came raiding back for it. Used 40 rockets and they were still unsuccessful on finding the loot room with AK and getting TC access. They eventually gave up and we were able to build another aggravator the next day on the other side of the map after moving the biggest loot into a compact starter! Outstanding base, I highly recommend this one!!

@@chris-sq9th I simply didn't need them. If you're having trouble placing certain walls, you can place a wall under it. Much like placing a half wall under a triangle floor. Once it's placed, you can place your wall and then demolish the one under it. Much like you would do for your triangle floor when doing loot rooms. I hope this helps!

Can confirm, aggravator is doable as a solo on a 2x server. Said server also has 2.5x stacking, so I was able to fit a full week's upkeep in the TC and still have room to spare for some super secure fuel and gunpowder storage. I was raided on one of the final days of wipe. They didn't get the TC or even bother with the final loot room.

Kukaservers: Noob Friendly 2x, solo/duo/quad. Search for 'Kukaservers' in modded and you'll find it. We used to be in Community but either something changed internally with Facepunch, or we got mass-reported after a banwave of hackers (we had 20 unique hackers in a single wipe day once. All banned. All EAC banned after our admins reported, about half of them banned by morning the next day)

This base has lasted 3 weeks for me on r/playrust server and is still standing. It's survived a couple of partial raids, one of which was to the TC loot room (vending machine saved the TC), and helped me to get my most successful wipe so far in 850 hours. Is good base.

Evil Wurst I mean, they really do, they have completely different considerations to make, farm, equipment restrictions (or lack there of) and a higher amount of manpower (which leads to specialization and time management). This base is extremely efficient though, and is an interesting update to the older designs. I do wonder about what would happen should the door exploit be patched. If not, then that additional inconvenience would be extremely good at dissuading low level threats; especially if they recognize the design as “too much trouble”. Larger groups/more dedicated raiders might still be hard to shake, but it should make for some interesting defensive play. I can also see how this could be updated or modified for clan play; making that the core and then spindling outward. You’d keep some of the efficiency of this design’s footprint and gain additional protective “layers” to keep people guessing. Awesome video, by the way.

I been messing around with this build all week. I managed to do 5 external TCs & make a shell around the base with Inner peak downs. Going to try to build it on a vanilla server soon. Another build I sacrificed the shooting floor & extended 2 story tower with some nutty peak downs on top. Great modular base & is my now go to.

been using only this base for years. It looks small and does not catch the eye. It looks like an very easy base to raid from the outside but once inside your in one heck of a treat. This base has survived alot of online raids when they go inside the drop downs with all the explosives. One day i got raided 7 times with this base as they were raiding i was rebuilding. Even when raiders get the loot they get extreamly pissed at this base becouse of the drop downs they will use EVERYTHING to fondation wipe the base so they dont have to deal with it again. Truely a one of a kind base that lived up to its name.

I play on a 4x server, maybe a couple hours a day after work. This base was easy enough to build up from farm collected running from the beach to my desired living location, and then the next day I spent farming barrels for garage doors and ladder hatches. I really like this design, and for a pretty casual player, I love that it doesn't have a bunch of roof-stacking or other gimmicks.

@@EvilWurst For what it's worth, this base lasted the entire 10 day wipe cycle. I got raided once, when my honeycomb was still stone, but they only made it into one of the 3 loot rooms, and only got a few guns and ammo.

Hi Evil!! I've been using this base since you published it a month ago and it has been great! The only "flaw" that I've found is with the opened honeycombs, one time the raiders broke into one of the honeycomb's window and then jumped down and c4ed a wall and they got into one of the loot rooms, since then I'm closing all the honeycombs and upgrading all the honeycomb's floors to sheet metal, with that enhancement the base is perfect.

If you want to access TC with vending machine, upgrade floor to sheet metal, count 3 rows up and place TC and move right against the wall. Flip the high quality wall for easier access.

I right now have this base on a server and all it has in it is a level 2 workbench and stone and sheet metal in my TC. It will be amusing the person who raids it.

I just made this base in Rust as a solo. I’ve been wanting to for a long time. BUT just after I finally finished it, been working on it since wipe day, I screwed it all up. I had a tuna can lamp near my TC. I didn’t do the vending machine in the doorway. I just put a garage door on it. But anyway I was doing something with the tuna can lamp but i accidentally hovered over TC instead I guess. Well I unauthorized myself somehow and all the shotgun traps blasted me into dust. Now I can’t even get to my TC without shotgun traps blasting my face off before I could hope to get TC authorization. I have to keep jumping down the hole and getting blasted once every 1:30 or however long a bed takes to respawn. I have 6 shotgun traps all with 100 rounds of ammo down there. And only like 1 maybe 2 shots are going off per trip. I can’t believe I hit 1 button wrong on my PS5 controller and ruined my entire game lol. This is devastating.

i use this base in 10x moded servers. takes them hours to raid it due to raiders getting killed with their explosives down there. when they raid you its pure pain to get the base back so dont put so much ammo in them. i fit 60 shotgun traps. don't ask me how much time i spend to get it back lmao. i think its best to do an exploit where you can get easy access to tc from the outside with a pixel gap or somthing in vanilla.

I would recommend also hooking up eletricity to the main front door so if you do get door camped and die you can close it with the app.

as a solo i liked most of ur base design sin e they are strong but not often cheap but that base is very much cheaper then th phönix v3 that i use at the moment and has enough protection fromraiding for me thx for u vids

Best base in the game for small groups. Nothing beats the low profile, high raid cost, space efficiency, and convenience of this base for the cost. Over 3 days of upkeep, throw down a few external TCs with inward-facing wireless autoturret pods triggered by HBHF sensors in the honeycomb rooms of the base to shut down offline raids, and odds are pretty damn good that you'll be a permanent feature of the landscape for the duration of the wipe. The best upgrade here compared with the original is ditching that big 2-story square airlock with drop chest loot room on top. The side-profile of the Aggravator V2 is much smaller and much less visually-appealing as a raid target as a result. Used this base in at least 6 different monthly wipes. I've tried other bases, but nothing comes close to the Aggravator. Best. Base. In. The. Game.

@@EvilWurst Yeah I can't emphasize enough how beast this base is compared to how small and weak it looks. People think they're going to get something equivalent or easier than a honeycombed 2x2, and they have no idea what they're in for. Sometimes raiders will get one of my primary loot rooms, but almost never will they get all 3 loot rooms. Just too damned expensive to get all 3. If I play with a group that plays low-profile, we often go an entire month without getting raided, or if I play with high profile PVPers that bait raids, we'll take hit after hit after hit, but never losing all of our loot, and never losing the base thanks to externals. Thanks a lot for doing what you do Wurst. This base has been a gift that just keeps giving.

I managed to solo build and upkeep this monster base in last month since wipe day to the last day on official server - nobody bothered to raid me and I lived next to bandit town and launch site. Good design, although it lacks sniper tower to catch people that are trying to find a gap in defenses or compound bowing turrets (I had to have close turret's pods).

Happy to hear that! Regarding the auto turrets, when I used those auto turret pods, I tend to leave them closed unless I am in or near the base. They can turn the tide if you open them up when you spawn into a raid

If you would like you can place another garage door in the lootrooms inside the boxes but you have to place the doorframe and garage door before you place the boxes and shotgun traps

I know this video is dated, but i completed this build as a solo. i had what i assume was a duo or trio try to raid me. they were very unsuccessful. my tc was untouched as well as main loot. they opted to go through a stone wall and 6 garage doors. thanks for saving my ass!

i made my own base, based off of your thrifty scott 2, its a duo-quad base but ive easily built the tier 2 version solo, ive found its 40 rockets to blow into the entire base, it uses useable honey comb to provide with tier2 and 3 placement, 2 lockers, 9 furnaces, 3 large loot rooms (4 large boxes) and a foundation half wall bunker, you could also add a full heli shooting floor depending on your group size

For anyone building this, do not finalize the second floor of the honeycomb if you do not have your triangular ladder hatches in, you will not be able to place them if you do. Hope this helps someone.
