Thanks a lot for this video! I just wondering how may I export this to a .geojson file for down stream analysis such as Emerging Hot Spot Analysis? Thank you.

You can use the function st_write() from the sf package. If you have an sf object you can write it like so sf::st_write(x, "my-file.geojson") or sf::st_write(x, "my-file.shp") for example

Great video! I got a question... is it possible to get the % covered by each grid by a set of polygons inside of it with sfdep?

Question: If we want to run this through a Hot Spot Analysis later, how can we maintain the geometry to follow along with your "Hot Spot Analysis in R: GIS Fundamentals" video? Since we turned it to an sf object I am unable to proceed with assigning neighbors and weight. Specifically the mutate() and st_continguity() functions. -Thank You

st_contiguity() works with the geometry column in an sf object. You should use the resultant aggregated object as you hotspot features. Maybe you can make an issue at github.com/JosiahParry/youtube-tutorials/ with a reproducible example? Thanks : )
