The woman officer at 9.35 is the one I sued for battering me. Lancs police tried to deny it, until they discovered that the whole assaault on me was caught on cctv. I was married to a police officer who was violent and that morning I was awarded custody of our children. That officer rolled up at my door at 8pm and kicked her way in. She and her partner then beat me so badly that I ended up in hospital for 2 weeks. It was only when cctv showed what really happened, that the police tried to apologise. It cost them £50,000 of tax payers money and that officer remains employed.

Therefore I had to accept out of court as they would not provide further funding for a trial, when in their mind it could be resolved without the need for further expense to the taxpayer. If it had been up to me, I would have taken it all the way and forfeited any compensation in return for seeing justice done, believe me, I tried. But the police are protected unless the police management themselves want them out.

The so called 'officer' is a disgrace to the Police, and a danger to the public. At 11.45 SHE threatened the photographer with arrest under Section 4, citing a Public Order offence for calling her a "He" - but under Section 4 of the Public Order Act 1986, the offence is to create a fear of provocation of violence by threatening words or behaviour; The man's actions very clearly do not meet this standard, and therefore it is an unlawful threat of arrest, which itself becomes an Offence.

Reggie, the behaviour of those so called police was disgusting. The attitude was disgraceful. Arrogant and threatening. I've lost a lot of trust in the police of recent years and this scenario backs up my feelings and yes it does boil my blood. Complaints need to be made against those so called officers, for what good it may cause.

I worked for the police in a civilian capacity for many years, and I can tell you categorically that these two muppets are well out of order! The chap filming nailed it when he asked were there any barriers and/or restrictions in place, and when she, and later he answered no, it was end of conversation! The last time I looked, the BBC have no special privileges in regards to filming in public places, unless, by prior arrangements, and with the proper consent, as with a major film production, when barriers and security would be in place. This is simple two gobby coppers, flexing their muscles at the request of a BBC minion, because they seem to think that we now live in a police state, or maybe they thought they might get free tickets to the show? Who knows, but kudos to the guy filming for digging his heals in!
