OG Cro-Mag Parris Mayhew’s band the AGGROS are back with SK8BORED FIGHT, the long awaited third video/single from the album RISE OF THE AGGROS.
AGGROS videos are no ordinary music videos, they are an artistic extension of the music, a journey, like little movies harkening back to MTV’s heyday. SK8BORED fight continues Parris’ nighttime wanderings through the dark city streets of his memory, but this one is also a love letter to NYC musicians like RUNDMC, RAMONES, BEASTIE BOYS, KISS and BIGGIE in particular plus a little Clint Eastwood-style ruthless guitar duel for good measure - a battle between the mighty Chuck Lenihan of Crumbsuckers and Parris Mayhew facing off in the glow of city lights and fire!

That takes some guts to go for a trade-off guitar solo with Chuck. That guy has otherwordly skills. But you did great, Parris. Looked like you were setting it up as a axe battle, but then at the end you grin because you know that nobody can outplay Chuck Lenihan. Nobody.

Correctamundo, Chuck is undefeatable! And I agree, I wasn’t sure I would keep my solos in there, I was actually waiting for Chuck to send the missing pieces to that solo, but I was in the studio and me and the engineer said, “let’s give it a go.” And it worked out nicely. But of course I gave the second solo entirely to the King! And yeah I thought after all that scouling I had to show how it all really made me feel, always wonderful to be surrounded by the best!
