The more i played this game, the less impressed i became. (especially since 1v1s are 90% tau cannon spam). No wonder AG players get dunked in other arena shooters. (atleast the ones who cheat)

If you don't enjoy the gauss gun then don't play. Most games have a select few dominant tools. Especially in a game like this, where the singleplayer is first and foremost, the weapon balancing is never gonna be perfect. It's more about the movement, velocity and aim. The gauss is simple but dynamic, and interesting and enjoyable to play with. Idk anything about any cheaters.

@@c0nk2879 the gauss guns ability to shoot through any wall and hit without being pinpoint accurate is the main problem tho.

@Deadmeatsz uhhh, maybe but it's much more complicated than that. I've been reading up on it recently. The beam damages at one to four or five different vectors depending on how it is reflected. So yes there's a lot of lucky kills but also intentionally placed multi kill shots that create for unique and hype moments. Wallbanging exists in a lot of games and I think it's fine. It's not like it doesn't take skill. There's literally like a 10 page website section that explains all the calculations, it's a very complicated gun but surely overtuned. Doesn't make it any less fun tho. Easy to learn, difficult to master

@@c0nk2879 wallbanging through several walls without any requirement to aim is an inherent bad design I think even without cheaters abusing it to kill you across entire map through everything. No wonder the games pro scene is dead.

@Deadmeatsz without any requirement to aim? Okay that doesn't really make sense, you still have to aim and it's not like the beam is locking onto people through walls automatically
