The extreme Aghori sect ( and cannibals)are a small sect of ascetic Hindu Shaiva sadhus of India known for their unconventional and often extreme practices. This approach is rooted in their belief that transcending societal norms and confronting the concept of impurity can lead to liberation.
Cannibalism among the extreme cult of Aghoris involves eating human flesh from corpses found in cremation grounds. They do not kill for this purpose; instead, they utilize remains that are available. This practice symbolizes the rejection of dualities like pure and impure, aiming to attain a state of non-discrimination and unity with the divine.
In contrast from agori, Naga Sadhus sect are ascetics who renounce worldly life to pursue spiritual goals. They are known for their austere practices, including remaining naked and covering their bodies with ash, often human ashes from cremation grounds (ghats)symbolizing their detachment from material existence. Naga Sadhus sect are organized into akharas (monastic orders) and often participate in religious festivals and rituals like mahakumbh where are he in at the last part.
The Maha Kumbh Mela, held every 12 years in Prayagraj (formerly Allahabad), is a significant event where both Aghori cannibals and Naga Sadhus converge. The Maha Kumbh Mela 2025 has attracted millions of pilgrims, with about 500 million expected over the six-week festival. Participants engage in rituals such as taking holy bath (Snan) at the confluence of the Ganges, (ganga river)Yamuna, and the mythical Saraswati rivers, believing it cleanses sins and breaks the cycle of rebirth. The 3 Combined rivers called sangam river. I also took the Shahi Snan as you can see, together with holy men, aghori baba and naga babas.
While both groups are devoted to Lord Shiva, their practices and philosophies differ significantly. The feared sect of Aghori cannibals rituals challenge social norms to achieve spiritual liberation, whereas the naked Naga Sadhus emphasize renunciation and discipline as paths to enlightenment. Aghoris also do black magic and many indians are very afraid of this feared sect. I just think they are misunderstood …🙏🏻♥️🇮🇳

It was the exact same two right? But you’re right. No don’t want to interact and you can’t bribe these two with money. It’s impossible. I manage because of of a good friend who who sat with them for days before I came and he got their trust. When I came they needed to trust me as well. They wanted to go to maha Kumbh and I offered them the transport in car to go with me. Only that. Then one step took another and we ended up doing all these crazy and wild things. No one ever been allowed to film this. And now that you saw these two yourself and how they normally are with other people you understand how lucky I was.
