Aging in Autism: Risk and Resilience

are there ongoing research studies for what our population needs? I've been having a really hard living independently and feel like there is not enough help because I fall through the cracks, income too high for Medicaid, and I'm not 65 yet, but there are no alternatives? It's complicated to type it all out, but it's that just it, it's complicated! Doctors don't understand, there's not connection or clarity between what is "normal" age related decline vs other issues, so not getting help there either? It's just a vicious circle and there's no where to go for help! :(
