Aging Magazines Images for Junk Journals using Dollar Store Product

There are fabulous images in magazines, but if you want more of an aged or distressed look, you might pass these images by. Here is an easy technique that that creates a distressed and aged look, and the product you use to create it come from the dollar store!

do you think water & vinegar would knock down the color? i hate the way that totally awesome cleaning supply smells?

That is a good question! It is worth a try. The one thing to keep in mind is that you will be adding acid from the vinegar. For things you make that you don't care about the longevity, that is not a big deal. But if you are making something special, my might not want the extra acid. To be honest though, I have not checked the acidity of the Awesome cleaner! LOL I think of it as being gentle, but it might be acidic as well. :)
