This actually perfectly shows a chilling thought I had once. It was one of those thoughts that makes you want to curl into a fetal position and squeeze yourself as tight as you can because of how sad it is. I had this thought that, if my older brother died, there would probably be a time decades into the future when I wouldn't be able to remember what his voice sounded like and all the memories I have of him would be rewritten, as every time I recalled them they would be replaced with slightly less and less accurate versions. The way I remember him would be a crystallized shadow that only vaguely resembles the person he truly was, like seeing a blurry face in a dream. This is one of the reasons why Omori speaks to me so much. I love my brother more than anything, and even though he can be kind of a jerk, he has been my best friend all throughout my life. I think there's something so special about siblinghood because the love you have for your siblings is unique and unlike the love you have for anyone else.

Oh my gosh my older brother is not a really nice person but I still love him and this almost made me cry because that's kind of how it is now. explaining it for some people who dont know: small dude (omori) isolated himself for long time, gets out after long time, and realizes his friends are grown up now (the friends we focus on rn are basil and mari) basil is now scared and will not speak. mari is dead. he finds out he is the one who oofed mari and basil saw it all. mari is his sister and "omori" actual name is sunny (idk i havent really done anything related to omori in a long time so uh correct me if theres mistakes) edit: dont forget they got a jump rope and hanged mari to make it look like a suicide
