Have been to Greece a half dozen times probably, but not there. Greece has just an inexhaustible supply of interesting places to visit. And the sight of that lovely food always whets my appetite to go back. That's it! I'm definitely going back this year! thanks for another great video!

Great plan! You can add on Methoni too. They also have a castle I want to visit. It’s a bit further than Koroni but you should still be able to do both in a day.

@@UpintheairFL if you get to Methoni, try also Pylos. Historical town overlooking the Navarino bay, where the deciding Naval battle that decided the Greek War of Independece was fought.

Thank you for the trip down memory lane. We were in Koroni last year. I like Methoni better....castle is much better (subjective of course). DO NOT forget to visit Kardamyli. There is a jazz festival there every spring and the town and the festival are fantastic. I actually believe that the festival is going on now. We try to go to Kalamata every year. I have family there. I cannot recommend Kardamyli too much. :) Thank you again and I look forward to the next video.

I love that area of the Peloponnese. I am actually going to stay in Finikounda for a week in the summer followed by a week up near Pyrgos and then a week in Akrata on the gulf of Korinthos.

Hi, Im panning to visit greece, for the first time, in July, but will stick to the mainland/peninsula for 6 nights. What do you think of staying in Athens 2 nights, 1 night near Delphi, 1 in Olympia, and 2 in Nafplio? I have a late afternoon flight from Athens to Rome and will just go from Nafplio to the Athens airport. Thanks, love you ur channel!.

It’s a lot of driving in one day. Check the opening times of the archaeological sites to make sure you can make it before they close. The drive from Delphi to Olympia is about 3-4 hours. But if you don’t mind driving that then you can do it. Thank you!

It's a 630km round trip. If you like driving your itinerary would be feasible. After leaving drive to Olympia, you could take the scenic mountain route, and visit the villages of Dimitsana, Stemnitsa and Vityna. It'll give you a feeling or rural mountain Greece, which not many people get to experience. In Nafplio you're of course a stone's throw from Mycynae and Epidavros, so your visit to either of those could be on your way back to Athens. If you plan to go back to Athens via Epidavros, try visinting Stork Cafe between Ancient and New Epidavros villages. The view is breathtaking.

However, since I like to move around a bit, what relatively easy island trips would you recommend from Santorini. They could be day trips or overnight, but not too far from Santorini. And a non fun fact Peloponnese along with Attica and Euboea island are the most effected areas in Greece by wildfires. So imagine it pure and untouched. And no these fires don't caused by natural phenomena.

Name 1 country that has this kind of Diversity in a relatively mid sized european country. Now add the history on top and 4 seasons. Oh and the number of islands that each one has roots to antiquity and as much as diverse as the mainland. NAME ME 1 COUNTRY !
