Any suggestions for removing a rounded off bolt head? It's 7 1/2 inches down from the top of the agitator, so vice grips are out. The bolt is also rusty, is that normal?

Can you use bigger and bigger drills to drill the head away and then pull off the agitator and then put some oil on the threads and let it sink in overnight. Next tap the screw with a hammer and then spin it out with vice grips👍

@@ScottTheFixItGuyChannel How freely should the basket spin when the spin cycle ends? Mine spins for a couple seconds before stopping pretty abruptly. It doesn't coast to a stop.

Great question, I can almost guarantee you that those socks are actually lost in your dryer cabinet. It’s a very common problem. You can try putting small items in a zipper knit bag.

The bolt in the top of my agitator will not come out and when I try to remove bolt it just feels like I'm rotating somthing underneath the washer and the bolt is seemingly not turning

I had the same issue. Turns out there was a nut on the bottom of the washer that we had to remove

This is probably a dumb question but can the washer safely be run without an agitator? We have some large items to wash and heard it might be better to take the agitator out.
