As part 2 of the Agni series, the role of this vedic deity in Jyotish is uncovered. Our discussion takes us from the original rig vedic sukta through the scintillating bylanes of vedic mythology to the important lunar mansions/nakshatras of Krittika and Vishakha. This is in the authors opinion a novel theoretical approach to understand the inner destiny of these nakshatras through an insightful understanding of Agni and Indragni, deities of Krittika and Vishakha respectively.
