Yes, few improvements to be made in Agniveer scheme but this is the demand of future. Future wars would be less on human but more tech and expensive arms. Any system cant spend on both these in same time...at the end no one wants to loose their soldiers due to lack of Hi-tech arms. if govt can put the reservations for Agniveer in other jobs like police or merchant navy with more security...I am sure it could make our forces make more agile, effective and strong

Today physical strength is not sufficient.A Nation who is surrounded by not so friendly countries can not afford to continue old structure in new generation warfare. We have to develop nationalistic mindset with out chaos and Agniveer is the best in it's kind.who are strongest mentaly ,physically and driven with the mindset of nation building will be absorbed.simultaneously the rest who have gone through with the training, counseling,course works will make the society strong.They will have mindset and efficiency.where ever they will join or become entrepreneurs will be beneficial for the nation. True. This is the main reason why govt. brought Agniveer, to get more youth trained and ready for the bettlefield. We have huge population but mostly are not physically and mentally fit and more than that our deadly neighbors. In todays world we need advanced tech also along with armed forces but people are not understanding it. Or government should bring a rule like 1-2 yrs compulsory NCC training for boys and girls at school and college level. Coming yrs are not good for India from security points of view, Pak, China, Bangladesh & other countries too are just waiting.
