If I worked 20 years in a corporate company, that doesn't mean I should inherit the company. If the father chose not to give her a share, that's his issue, not Islam's.

As a sister myself, I find Allah's wisdom to be so complete and just. As Muslim women we are protected and maintained as all the males in our lives have a financial obligation towards us. This man is not seeing the full picture and comes with a flawed pixel. The injustice in his example is down to the Father not giving a share of the company to his daughter after 20 years of hard graft.

Let alone, this is only the basic situation. There are several situations where a woman receives more, several others where she receives an equal amount, and a few other where she receives less. It all depends on the familial situation, and while more often than not the man receives more, Islam grants us the wisdom not to have 1 outcome for every situation related to this matter but many differents. Somehow this is not shared knowledge, or at least non-muslims don't seem to know the pularity of such rulings...
