The funny thing with Islam is that many of the thnigs we experienced on earth are really good indicators of the truth in the message of Allah(SWT). For example when we get our salary suddenly we tend to forget the hard times we had during the month and we live our best life like there is no tommorow. Surah 29 2 Do people think once they say, “We believe,” that they will be left without being put to the test? This is from the Quran, God is saying that regardless of our situation on this earth. Whether we are believers or not we will be trialled and tested through hardship, pain and suffering, misery etc. It is an inevitable part of our existence and specifically for the favoured ones of God. To answer in a nutshell it is part of the system God designed. Good and evil exists and evil things do happen to good people. This is part of Gods system and free will.
