The casserole looks delicious I will have to take it to our next church potluck. We have ours the first Wed. of each month with a service after. My church is the highlight of my days now that hubby #2 has passed. I was married to hubby #1 we served the Army for 23 years being Infantry we were mainly in the South my second husband served in the Navy he has a grandson that serves as an officer in the Navy and my grandson is a Cpt. in the Army. Even my son-in-law retired from the Army. God bless our servicemen and their families. After two tours in Vietnam my husband had a hard time coping with PTSD civilians sometimes don't really know how much we give for our country.

What a great and wholesome dish. Thank you for sharing. It brings back memories from when I was a young girl. My husband does not like peppers, but he is adapting to all the various goodness I am incorporating in our meals, and having the peppers chopped down, will definitely make a difference. The only thing I would have to change is to use goat cheese as all the other ingredients work quite well with my diet needs. Thank you again for sharing as well as in sharing your faith. Blessings, ~ Laura

Hi Constance, this looked so delicious I decided to try it tonight, but instead of rice I’m using cabbage, it was needing to be used and I’m trying to stay low carb, I think it’s going to turn out fantastic! It smells soooo good 😊

I love how you have your cast iron pans displayed. It looks neat and tidy and functional. Where did you get your mint colored measuring cup? It has 3 spouts! That's cool. I love that you study the Torah as well as the Holy Bible. I am a home schooling Mom of one 7 year old. We have Bible Study every day, even during summer vacation. We also, on occasion watch youtube videos that teach us some Hebrew. This year, Miss Johanna Elisheva is going into 2nd grade. She is going to be learning: reading, writing, cursive, Spanish, Hebrew, Math, Science, History. She already knows how to read and write, so school should be easier this year than last. Last year, for half the year, I had to read everything to her, but she picked up reading super quick. Your casserole looks really yummy. Thank you for the recipe. You are the last one that I watched in the line-up. I appreciate you. May God Bless you and your family in every good thing that you do.

Thank you Anna :) I found the measuring cup at an antique store. I homeschooled my children, and the plan is (Lord willing) that I will homeschool my granddaughter, too :)

This is kind of an old favorite recipe of mine my mom started making it probably when I was 10 or 12. I don't know where she saw or heard about the recipe but it was very very similar and took things that we normally had right there at the farm so it got to be a popular favorite.

The Bible in the beginning of the video is a Complete Jewish Study Bible. It is “old” and “new” testaments and is filled with information that provides cultural and historical context for what is shared in the scriptures. :) www.christianbook.com/page/tcg/hp/complete-jewish-study-bible?search=Complete%20jewish%20study%20bible&search_term=Complete%20jewish%20study%20bible&ps_exit=RETURN%7Clegacy
