Fuck yeah! I'm a long time sludge fan and this honestly took the cake as my favourite sludge release EVER! Please do the other tracks and I'll literally marry you. Kat's gutterals at the end of this one are NUTS. and the middle change-up riff in Deathbed has to be one of the BEST riffs ever

Scott Hull is a riff monster. It's actually astounding how many killer riffs he's written across all of his projects over the years.

@@JoelSully Totally agree. As much as he is well-known for his grind stuff with PD and ANb, he has really shown himself to have a knack for the slower stuff between this release, Natasha, and Mass & Volume

All day bro! You nailed another one. That tuning and tone is some mammoth-level madness.

Another awesome cover. Question-did you have to do anything to your LTD besides the heavier strings to get this low? Any intonation issues?
@JoelSully4 жыл бұрын
Thanks, man. I didn't have to do anything outside the norm of a regular set-up (action/neck relief/intonation). I used 13-56 gauge strings, which aren't too huge or anything and I was able to intonate them correctly. When dropping the low string to F#, I tune it a little flat because the string is floppy and goes sharp when you pick it.
