Somebody To Love - Queen - HD Live - Montreal (Quebec, Canada).
" God Save The Queen, Her Fascist Regime ! " : www.agoravox.tv...
Montreal Forum (november 24, 25 1981)
Freddie Mercury,
Brian May,
John Deacon,
Roger Taylor
Lyrics / Paroles :
Can anybody find me somebody to love?
Each morning I get up I die a little
Can barely stand on my feet
Take a look in the mirror and cry
Lord what you're doing to me
I have spent all my years in believing you
But I just can't get no relief, Lord!
Somebody, somebody
Can anybody find me somebody to love?
I work hard every day of my life
I work till I ache my bones
At the end I take home my hard earned pay all on my own -
I get down on my knees
And I start to pray
Till the tears run down from my eyes
Lord - somebody - somebody
Can anybody find me - somebody to love?
(He works hard)
Everyday - I try and I try and I try -
But everybody wants to put me down
They say I'm goin' crazy
They say I got a lot of water in my brain
Got no common sense
I got nobody left to believe
Yeah - yeah yeah yeah
Oh Lord
Somebody - somebody
Can anybody find me somebody to love?
Got no feel, I got no rhythm
I just keep losing my beat
I'm ok, I'm alright
Ain't gonna face no defeat
I just gotta get out of this prison cell
Someday I'm gonna be free, Lord!
Find me somebody to love
Can anybody find me somebody to love?

@Nalla Kinz Ok, for some of us (I include myself) Queen is the greatest one, but that's a personal opinion... a Beatles or a Bon Jovi's fan will tell you those bands were the best...is very subjective. In what we can agree is, for you and me QUEEN was the best band ever heard, is one of those bands which were unforgettable and incomparable but there everyone has their own opinion about which one was the best.......music is subjective.

Sorry to disappoint you, but this performance is actually two performances combined, they performed in Montreal two times on two days and the audio and video was combined to make a better performance (the best parts of each show), you can actually hear somewhere in this video Brian playing a single note while he is seen playing a chord. Somewhere around the ending. That's a good example

Tailor is way out of the ordinary. Just calling him a drummer is almost demeaning. This clip is one of the few that actually gave him some exposure and he is Extraordinary! Usually you just hear his drums (all the highs are his) - Most exposure is always on Freddie and Brian. Deacon usually takes a step back into the shadows. Tailor is almost a rock keeping it all together.

This is amazing. At 3:35 Brian wanders off the stage, fixing some issue with his guitar. Freddie notices at 3:40, and goes into an extended improvised vamp. From around 3:53, Brian is making what sound like tentative strums to check something? Then from around 4:10 he's vamping, and Freddie takes it as a cue to continue properly. Well, I think. It's all incredible.

I just can't wrap my head around how well this band performed, no bullshit, no live autotune, just true musicians really creating a piece of art together all at once while on the spotlight, on top of a stage performing for thousands of people in front of them! Just the way they can really focus their minds together in such musical syntony to create something so beautiful, so special and so rare that even artists 40 years later could never dream of performing, even with all the advancements in technology that should allow them to.

that is because these band members were highly intelligent and incredibly good musicians when they were in their late teens unlike most of the crap that is produced today by the likes of Covell and others . Nothing IMHO will ever be better than Queen Live or Studio there is no better music ever made. The only persons who ever came close to Freddie Mercury was George Michael and Paul Rodgers of Free fame.

I feel like it's because all of the greats dabbled in all styles of music rock, blues, classical, gospel, ... Most people stick to one genre and can't really stand out if you get what I'm saying. Plus these people had ideas in their head, at least one band member needs to have some kind of vision, if nobody does then you'll just end up being a pub band/cover band.

My husband and I did our first dance to this song as it is my favorite of Queen. Also, we got married on my mom’s birthday. The last movie she saw in theaters before she passed away was Bohemian Rhapsody. She developed a crush on Freddie. Also, my husband and I walked into the reception to Freddie’s version of I Was Born to Love You. We took my in laws to see Rock Montreal when it was in the theaters. My mother in law was rocking out and she asked me so many Queen questions afterwards. My father in law enjoyed this too.
