funny thing is, some people think this is an exact squeal that happens in the future while others think of it as an alternate timeline/universe, which i think the alternate timeline/universe is the one that the actual game creators had said was cannon, i might me wrong though

@@desireehutcherson3604 that actually is true Mike Mood did say it was a different universe but the whole thing with the batims characters in the cycle held prisoner and how that henry is fake and was explained made to go threw batim in the cycle bc of joey and his hate towards normal henry so it is really confusing rn

@@bagel9540 from what I can understand batim was supposed to be an endless cycle starting over again and again but when wilson got his hand on the machine the cycle froze in place which allowed the ink demon to evolve beyond what was in batim and I assume that batdr seems to take place in a frozen cycle before the boris fight but also after boris was captured in the 1st game as alice angel is still alive and Allison wasn’t named that way until she met henry or something and sammy lawrence is also still alive and still worshiping the ink demon since the cycle has been frozen before his fight ever accured

Not entirely from what I know. DCTL pretty much gives the idea that it takes place in the real world because of how Buddy wrote about what incidents took place. So I feel like the real Henry went through the loop and Joey made a toon version just to let out his anger even more on it. It kind of looks like that so far.
