Baloyskie don't get enough credit for what he achieve with Geekfam. He was a player, shotcaller, coach, drafter and captain to literally the worst team in MPL ID history before he joined. Geekfam has never even reached a playoffs before let alone the grand finals and of course M5. Yes, Kairi and Yeb are special and made a big impact in ONIC ID but they joined an already strong, established team. They did not build ONIC ID from scratch unlike what Baloy did for Geek.

Many PH import doesn't mean that all of PH import except coach yeb and kairi. Many is more than quarter or maybe half of PH import. Coach Yeb and Kairi is special of course because they are his teammate and he know what kind of person actually about coach yeb and kairi and obviously they got so many achievement with Onic. After all achievement (Trophy) is what make you different from the other. Look at Evos that they are still roaring about being M1 champion because that make you different from the other even they in the slump condition lately.

from Kiboy's POV as they are the current strongest team in ID, its proably right in his opinion, but it very much determines how he define "shine", Shine being as strong as the current onic ID, winning MPLs in ID and bringing some international thropies to ID? - Then maybe not many PH imports are shining, Shine being making a difference to the their team which were originally in the lower teir ranking in MPL ID and now in the higher teir rankings? - Then there are more options to choose from. So his statement is not entiely wrong and also not entirely right as there are also imports who are still yet to produce results from a neutral standpoint. All orgs in ID who brings in imports only have one commong goal, which is to aim for the top. But is undeniable that time is needed to build chemistery with their teammates. But I will assume that the statement that Kiboy is making now is only vaild as he is currently the strongest roamer in ID. Whoever holds the strongest position, they will have the right to make statements and spamm recalls! 🤣

Well maybe the definition of "Shine" from kiboy perspective is in MPL ID S10 when Kairi is basically carrying ONIC the entire league and in MPL ID S11 they almost never lost because of Kairi gameplay and Yeb's drafting. But, in my opinion Kiboy statement isn't fair because before ONIC doing import from PH they already a strong team alongside with RRQ compared to another ID's team so even though Kairi carrying hard in S10 the team is already good in the first place. Also the reason why they so strong that many people doesn't know is that ONIC CEO is from one of the biggest political party in Indonesia called "Golkar" so yeah ONIC itself had ton of money to get good player like Kairi come to their team

Team culture is different in Indonesia. ID teams seek instant gratification, while the PH teams is more focused on delayed gratification. ID teams tend to prioritize instant gratification to the extent that if a team loses 2-3 times in one week, they will change players. Unlike PH teams, they focus on building chemistry through communication, socializing, playing sports, going to the gym, and engaging in other activities with their teammates. RRQ removed Brusko just to let the old man play again without even giving him a chance to improve. Like, what the heck? As I mentioned before, PH teams focus on the system rather than the goal, while ID teams focus on the goal without bothering to fix their system. Take a look at Bren and how they rebuilt their team with a delayed gratification mindset and team system. Edit: My point is that most of the imports got removed or replaced quickly because the ID team is obsessed with instant gratification and focuses too much on goals without a solid team system. Also, I forgot about the communication, language barrier, different culture, team culture, management treatment, etc.

Right , they didn't read at all. People didn't agree to Kiboy because Yawi , Baloy , Emann exists but apparently they forgot "much" in that statement , Kiboy is technically right. Kairi and Coach Yeb does give a huge impact towards ONIC ID when they first played. they've won MSC before and they played really well and won against strong ph teams. although they seems to be down right now.... Yawi doesn't get much screentime on AURA yet while Kairi has been playing in ONIC ID for some times now. perhaps they will show their strenghs in international stages. (not gonna say they'll win against other strong teams but who knows!)
