Going by my type of champions I´d rather play vs the Horsemen anyday than the horsewomen of top. Simply bcuz kit simplicity and they are way easier to play against than the horsewoman who has so much mobility, flashy and unexpected things they can do.

I partially agree, i despise both horseriders, the 4 horsemen are practically unkillable once they're fed, insane sustain and stable dps are pain in the ass, but if they're behind they're a glorified super minions, good thing if its the enemy team, but hellish experience if it's your team(at least they can still be meatshields). The horsewomen tho, they are unpredictable, huge burst to the point they could heavily cripple you in one combo, and can get out of fights quickly, most of them are better off acting as split pushers than joining teamfights if they're behind But hey, they're better than a top lane vayne at least

I'm on the opposite side of this, I prefer playing against the horsewoman, because if you can eliminate then on the early game they will just a minion running around. While horseman there is always something in their kits that can win the game, Jax/Aatrox/renek can take enemy time and even stop the carry for sometime, darius always have that 1000 true damage pression. A weak irelia/riven/camille/fiora will do what, they can't burst and can't tank, they will be a little annoyance before been killed. They need to be at least even to be threat, but when they are ahead...

I really think that the execution of Renekton is just so good. He is a drain tank, skirmisher who gets hardly punished for not taking dominance in lane, favoring those who understand the fundamentals of lane (lvl timers, wave management and prio), do to having less of a scale compared to other top champions. Plus, he is a really good response against the wind brothers... So its a green flag for me!

Renekton is one of those champions that is made or broken by itemization. Every time he is strong it’s because he abuses a specific overturned item. It has at different times been botrk, cleaver, hydra, and now sundered and shojin.

Main gripe with Renekton is how much of a short end of the stick he gets thanks to items being broken. Rios balancing team has an specific MO when it comes to champion and item balance. 1. Release broken item with no play-testing (PBE is a lie) 2. Item has an specific interaction with a champ (Renekton) that makes said champ incredibly broken 3. Pros abuse the hell of that champ because of the item. 4. Riot takes notice and decides to release nerfs throughout time to put the champ in a more stable state. 5. The champ is completely useless without the item, so people will still play it with it. 6. Riot finally realizes the item is the one thats broken because other champs statted to buld it. 7. Nerf the item to a stable state. 8. The champ that used to abuse the item is forgotten by Riot and never buffed. 9. Another broken item releases that buffs the champ 10. Rinse and repeat.

Not Aatrox. His winrate isn't a reflection of how busted he really is. His winrate is low because 50% of the time he picks first and gets hard counterpicked. Add in the games where he just get messed over by luck of the draw on teammates and he's sub 50%. Yet still a sky high pickrate at all ranks because anything that isn't a direct counter he just rolls over. He isn't balanced by his kit. He's balanced by how hard he is counterpicked. Aatrox is played so often that his counter picks have an inflated pick and win rate that makes them look better than they actually are.

@@tristan6773 Kennan absolutely stomps him. Almost all games Kennan plays in at Master+ are against Aatrox. He sits at a absurdly high win rate and game played because of it. Aatrox is picked about 10% of the time. Around a third of all Aatrox games are against Kennan at high ELO. That's Kennan's entire 3% pick rate. It would be higher but Kennan's ban rate is absurd for how often he is played, almost bans from an Aatrox's are for Kennan.

Champs with a dash to get on top of the world ender, tryndamere, renekton, darius+ghost etc. Since aatrox Q doesnt deal %-health damage, malphite and ornn are almost unwinnable lanes. I would also personally add Sett to this group. He excels in both team fights and single 1v1s. His W especially almost feels like an infinite use ability just because of how good it is. He struggles a bit with range but his ultimate is decent sized and he has his E to keep opponents near him.

Issue is Sett cant really thrive in pro-play's environment thanks to mobility creep and damage creep. Sure, Sett can output 5k worth of true damage with one W, but that alone needs items and good positioning to acomplish, sometimes as Sett I've been cc'd longer than I can W, making W instakill impossible. I'd even say League has also a CC creep, since nowadays its so easy for teammates to pile cc on top of cc. Though Sett does excel in low elo where he exploits lack of positioning, distancing and overall trading knowledge, never go all-in on Sett.

Sett gets stronger the lower in health he gets plus his regeneration also ramps up so everytime you damage him, he'll hit you back with even more damage. Seems like burst would be the answer then? Well no because if you burst him, you'll allow hit to hit max grit. There's other examples for Sett, but I'd suggest watching the video at that point.

Jax loses against a Fiora (honestly, everyone loses against her), and is neutral to good with other enemies. My favorite match-up is Darius since it discourages Jax from going all in (despite that being his strength) since Darius's all-in is arguably the strongest (getting 2-3 items worth of AD is not a joke).

Jax is infact infuriating to play against if you’re playing Fiora/camille/irelia, it’s only riven who can do subpar decent.

@@shaan2639 Wait really? In my experience with fighting against Fiora, she's like the hardest one to fight against. Her Vitals procs are really annoying to play against, and she deals more damage than Jax after he uses his E (and Fiora uses her W). With Riven though it kinda depends. Most Riven players want to go all-in and ALWAYS bring Ignite in toplane, so I usually play around that by playing safe and trying to rush Steraks (really good item against executes).

I think the main reason people don't have them as much, is that you can outplay them much easily. It's fairly easy to dodge aatrox Q's, jax and renek engage is somewhat predictable, and darius just requires good spacing. But people also hate darius bcuz his passive is very stat checky, and jax just splitpushes if he's behind and stat checks with Tri+W

Jax is pretty easy to kite and displace since after the leap he's got nothing and just has autos. Renek is only good if the dash hits something. Aatrox if he manages to get in with the ult but like I said if you displace him he's not bad. Like...none of these guys are as terrifying as you make them out to be, definitely not enough to be called horsemen an nowhere near as bad as the horsewomen. Like... I'm WAY more scared of a fed Irelia than fed renek. I really though Sion would be up there since the danger to him is you can't leave lane because then he just takes the whole thing while stacking health each time to be more unkillable.

Agreed brother. The horsemen of top are easier to play against bcuz they are very limited compared to the horsewomen. They may be tanky and deal damage like crazy but they CANT get to you if you have the same tools they have available (Ghost & Flash), also having peel and a team helps ofc. Horsewomen WILL get to you and have the tools to do so even if you have great peel and sums.

You make sound like jax Q don't have 3 sec cooldown and a E that has 2 seconds duration. If you can avoid its initial engage you would be safe, but that is also valid for camille and irelia dodge her E and R, and they will be in a bad spot.
