I'm in Antigua, not far from Aruba and we've had a long drought. about 3 years. We also would be up a creek with no paddle without imported foods.

Great plan about what about allergy issues? When you introduce new plants and sell commercially you could have issues with allergies right? I think it's a smart idea to grow plants in hotter climats but that's just an observation I made

Very knowledgeable guy

Nope he is not. he has clearly never heard of the Nagoya protocol and as a botanist myself I can ensure you his knowledge of plants is also not that impressive. Its just that many people are unfamiliar with botany and are gullible to anyone who opens his mouth. His ideas are not only wrong but also against the law. Its similar to saying that if people in a developing country are poor they should work as prostitutes to get some money. when you have no idea what prostitution is nor any knowledge of thw actual situation in that country it might sound like a good idea.

Judging by your other comment you obviously have a personal vendetta against this man. We need more people like him and less like you.

I actually don't. don't even know him personally. But since when is having serious critique on someone in your own field of expertise, immediately a personal vendetta? This guy is breaking the law and you are his personal fan. Of course you want to protect him. Its your right but it does not make you right.

Anyone who watches this video or others can clearly see this guy has put a great deal of thought and effort into his passion. He's a little weird but whatever, to completely dismiss him as not being knowledgeable is simply arrogant/ignorant, bottom line.

You keep failing to see the bigger picture and keep thinking its a personal thing. I also do not dismiss his knowledge completely. So bring decent arguments instead of childishly calling names.
