Wego always strikes my imagination a bit more than the standard turn based fare. Great overview, thank you!

Algorithmic sacrifice - these hex games always catch my interest, even when I'm quite bad at them :)

I had previously dismissed this game because it looked like one of those traditional turn based games with a large map, hundreds of small counters, and dull to play. However watching some gameplay and how the WEGO system worked, I've changed my mind. The simultaneous moves is intriguing! One negative is that it's only available directly from Slitherine / Matrix Games, no Steam key.

Looks great. Too bad about the hot pink choice for German controlled territory. I think I'll buy it. Ave!

which operation hex games do you can recommend?

My favorite is Gary Grigsbys War in the East 2, not sure it qualifies though Maybe The Operational Art of War IV?
