This is a very nice overview. I'm strongly considering getting one of these. One thought on the cooling fan... if anyone reverses the direction, it would probably be good to see if the fan blade can be removed, then flipped over on the motor shaft so that the blade will still be going in its designed rotational direction. Otherwise it won't move nearly as much air. Just my two cents. Thanks again for putting this video together.

Yeah, that's a good idea, I'll keep that in mind.

I think one of the pumps in my stack is bad, did you ever figure out where to get a replacement for the pump on this machine ?

I haven't yet, but I would check www.surpluscenter.com/

Brother!!! Thank you so much for the information. I just got the exact skid steer last week and was struggling trying to figure out all this stuff. We all owe you! I do know already it needs weights on the back😂

also how much oil did it require and was there a way to bleed the air out of the system or just by operating the hydraulics was enough.
@jetzombie24 күн бұрын
7.5 gals and the system bleeds out the air into the tank. I didn't crack the lines.

quick question again regarding the hydraulic fluid change. Did you happen to notice if your return pipe is submerged in the fluid when you filled it to the proper level? Reason I ask is that I changed my fluid and I still get oil foaming. I’ve read that the return pipe should be below the level to prevent oil aeration. If I fill the oil any higher in the tank I think there won’t be enough room for expansion.

When I replaced the fluid with 7.5 gals AW64, it wasn't submerged, but I boroscope the fluid and found that the bubbles were just a half-inch on top of the fluid. The rest of the tank was normal below the bubbles and hasn't had any issues or cavitation.

i just purchased the same unit and want to change the hydraulic oil. any chance you have some pics on where the filter is and what you removed to get to it. i don't want to start taking things apart until i know for sure. i find my unit when i shut it down after after running for a few minutes starts to leak out of the fill cap on the tank and the fluid is foamy. did yours do the same? i think they may have overfilled it at the factory.

When I replaced the fluid I removed about 3.5 gallons and filled it with 7.5. the review video had the three filters shown where and I described what I did. 2 are in the tank and one is in the yellow cylinder. I have another video this weekend where I talk about it.

Do you have any videos of the KTT 23 fuel system? I have both in line filters out. The one coming up the left side is 1/4", but there is a 3/8"(?) filter under the engine cover that I'm not sure what it's function is. The flow arrow as installed is showing flow away from the carb.

Great review. I just purchased the exact same mini skid steer from an auction in NC as well. Curious if you’ve had any issues with the Throttle not staying in place? I can’t stay in full throttle because it won’t stay pulled out, if that makes sense. I checked to see if the choke and the throttle cables were crossed and they were not, and looked ok. Any idea what might be causing this issue? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
@jetzombieАй бұрын
No I haven't, but the nut on the back of throttle assembly could be loose and this will cause tension of the assembly not to work right. At the throttle has a nut on the top and bottom of the control panel, the nut on the top is what will tighten the tension, but if the nut on the bottom is loose it will not hold tension. I seen were this could cause an issue with the throttle not staying out.
@alexandervannoy4751Ай бұрын
@@jetzombiethanks for the replay. The nut on the backside is definitely not tight. It’s going to be nightmare trying to get that tight. Thanks for the help. Hopefully that will fix the issue.

@@alexandervannoy4751 Just hand tight, no tools or the plastic might break. Hope it works now :).

Anyone having electrical issues? Most times when I try to flip the fan or light switch it kills everything including the engine. Looks as if place I got it from already changed the ignition before I got it. Found the oil filter for it, will post pic.

Did you say AW-46? I thought these take AW-32. I do not know for sure. I just purchased AW-32 Oil and am planning to change it this weekend on a unit that has "the same pump" in Chinese terms, :). If it is supposed to be AW-46 I'd like to know.
@jetzombieАй бұрын
Aw-46 is common for all environments, AW 68 for hot climate, and AW32 for colder.
