Thank you for the complete Job, especially “HOW” much thread, sewing, and tape to do it the correct way! 👍

That's one of the neatest alternatives I've seen for steering wheel covers, nice job.

Love this. However, I kind of wish you would have shown how to start off with the hand sewing(how to prep the needle and thread) and how to tie it off at the end. Some of us may have never sewn anything before. The other question is, do I cut the thread after each section?

The water mark in the middle of the video makes it REALLY hard to see..

10:35 if you’re wanting to see the stitching part.

Very nice job. I would have pulled a little tighter on the stitches though. But I liked it

As a general rule you should never turn the steering wheel if you are not moving. Turning the wheel while not moving puts stress on the power steering that it was not designed for and will cause parts to fail much sooner than normal. Not to mention that the tires are "scrubbing" on the ground and can cause flat spots.

If you are into so small details maybe you shouldn’t have a car. In theory, a car that is not moving is also wear and tear.

I notice things most people don't. Thank you for your interest. It is a fact that turning the wheel at rest puts a lot more stress on the power steering system then if you are rolling if you want to make your power steering system last longer without having to do repairs listen to what I say. If you want to do more repairs on your car then ignore me I don't really care.

His steering wheel was turning effortlessly, unless his car was on the whole, it wouldn't have been possible. I'm pretty certain he had the front wheels off the ground thus making it strain free on the power steering. LOGIC BRO.

@johnruppert56305 жыл бұрын
Do not remove the old cover! These are made to fit over the old cover.

If you can get your steering wheel to turn like that, it does look to hard.
