Some plucky Pinoys of the Republic of the Philippines fight for independence against American encroachers. What would Mark Twain say about this?
Happy Independence Day of the Republic of the Philippines! My sincerest admiration for the brave Pinoy men and women who fought for the creation of Republika ng Pilipinas!
This toy soldier stop motion was made when I was moving, so there was a substantial time crunch. Originally it was going to be some Heneral Luna knockoff, but I didn't have enough time to actually make a story. The deterioration of animation quality is severely regrettable, but in consideration of my current life circumstances there is nothing to be done.

Nicely done video! Never knew about the Filipino-American war, but of course the story of white Europeans trying to colonize/conquer native peoples all over the earth is an old, old story----unfortunately. Over in Indonesia the locals had to battle the Dutch Army for their independence. A guy named "Truk Bang Apri" does some nice toy soldier stop-motion videos about it. But he doesn't use AIP figures, he uses local toy soldiers and vehicles that are unfamiliar to us, and look more babyish.

The flag is wrong the red should be on-top when at war and when not at war the red is at the bottom as a Filipino and been in military training in war red should always be on the top and blue at the bottom but in times of peace and no war the flag has blue on the top red on the bottom
