True... Since some games have different Digivolution Lines since Agumon can evolve into Geogreymon in Data Squad and Greymon in Adventure... And the Digimon Data Squad Game has a whole crazy way to Digivolve called Galaxy Digivolution which basically means that Agumon has multiple Digivolutions and can go from Mega to Ultimate to Rookie... which is crazy since each star in the Constellation of the Galaxy Digivolution requires mutiple things to unlock...

I like to call the Agumon>Greymon>MetalGreymon>Wargreymon as the Natural Evolution line, which I think is the case where the digimon's evolution is not extremely affected by an external source. Digimon are still made up of data and are prone to be affected by external sources, unlike Pokemon with the set evolution tree (except some cases).

"Vritra"mon actually makes more sense considering the naming structure of the Line used by Takuya. They are named after Hindu gods ( except Flamemon). Although VritraGreymon sounds better.

Not the right skull structure, Greymon have their horns start a little further back than Vritramon, Vritramon's back horns move start from near the nose. Not to mention it lacks the hair Perfect level Greymon have (beast evolutions are perfect level).

Does Agunimon count as a subspecies or mutation of Agumon's evolutions (I remember Agumon digivolves this way this if he uses Spirit of Flame ( the spirit is related to AncientGreymon) in the Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth games) The way the warrior spirits work Digimon Frontier anime was just WEIRD though. The kids don't have partnter friends instead they are bonded with manifested warrior spirit armors in the form of a fusion meaning they are more likely to risk being injured since they do the fighting. The kids don't even meet the actual incarnations of the spirit until the very end.

You are probably the best most qualified person to ask this question to. Is there any canonical relation or link between agumon and agunimon? I feel like there's a reason why agunimon also evolves into a type of greymon and the fact that both digimons are related to the same type of chosen digidestined or legendary heroes. I'd love to know if there's something to that idea because it does seem to have a canonical iteration. Thanks a lot, great videos!!

Not an expert but if anything Ancient Digimon (such as the legendary warriors, Veemon and etc) are like great parents for "modern" Digimon, so yeah there's a link between not only the Greymon species but for a majority of the Dragon's Roar family.
