The red and white colors of Fêtes de Bayonne were inspired from the same red-white color code of the Fiesta de San Fermin in Pamplona, Navarre - one of the most important fiestas in the Basque Country. People from Bayonne wanted to have the same kind of festivities like in Pamplona so they adopted the same colors.
