Usyk once said in an interview that everytime he enters a boxing ring he feels like a bird that has been freed from its cage. It speaks volumes about his passion for the sport.

@@AGuyCalledHenry and btw i had it like 9-3 or 8-4. Exactly as you said in some of your previous videos. People somehow forget all of the body work Usyk did and fixate on what shot Fury landed. Also one thing that i see no one mention is that all Fury was satisfying is landing one shot at time, or at best 1 blocked and 1 landed shot. There wasn't any combination landing from Fury. Usyk is so good, he never gives you a chance to land second or third shot on him. And Usyk on the other hand was landing combination of Fury. And the 4th. round that so many people automatically gives to Fury, for me was very close round actually, as Usyk landed 5-6 punch combination to the body clean when Fury was on to the ropes, and after landed 2-3 punch combo to the head when Fury was on to the ropes again. I don't think Fury did the better work that round than Usyk as well. And some other thing that i see no other guy mention is Fury constantly holding to the ropes, which is illegal. He was using it as leverage and to get away from the corners and the ropes. You cannot hold to the ropes, yet the referee ignore that completely. The ref also ignored when Fury was sticking his hand up, and not trying to hold on Usyk, which is illegal as well. Fury is usually doing a lot of illegal stuffs, like hitting with open glove, which is again illegal, and he gets away with it, as he is a big draw, but man i hate this corrupt stuffs in boxing. A sport should be 100% fair when both are in the ring. The A side advantage should only be about who gets more money, nothing else.

This is what Usyk says about hurting Fury at 16:00 : "I did not want to damage him, I was just boxing, I do not need to do such things as damage. I know what boxing is, I know he will go home to his wife and children, it is bad when you damage your opponent." The subtitles were not very accurate. Thanks for the video, I like to watch your insights, even though I am a very casual boxing fan (just in for Usyk, basically :) ).

Fury seemed to be speaking more slowly and pronouncing his words more carefully than he usually does, presumably because he wanted Usyk to understand what he was saying, and Usyk wasn't reacting to any of it. You see the same pattern repeating every time these two interact with each other - Fury trying to make an impression on Usyk and running into a wall of indifference. The only time Usyk said anything which I believe was calculated to have an effect of Fury was his laconic, "No feel" when Bunce asked him if he'd been hurt by Fury's uppercuts, right after Fury had been talking so enthusiastically about hurting him with those punches. I wonder if there more to that particular exchange than we saw in the footage released?
@G228652 ай бұрын
Yeah Fury was using the same voice he used at the 1st press conference b4 the first fight when talking to usyk directly. He wanted him to understand what he was saying and wanted to get across that the loss doesn't haunt him and he thinks he hurt usyk too. Different behaviour from fury this time, he went into this with a plan to try and be modest but he had little choice
@DirtyJamesUK2 ай бұрын
I picked up on that, too. He basically laughed off the notion that Fury hurt him, and said he was never worried lol. That might hurt and demoralise Fury. I think Usyk and his team have a good grasp on Fury's psychology.

Fury can only win inside 6 , if it goes past 6, I see Usyk coming onstrong again , I thought Fury done really well in first fight early on , but showboated a bit too much instead of continually putting it on Usyk, he didn't and Oleksander saw the moment to go through his gears, see it playing out similar unless Fury really does full on like v Wilder 2 , think this will be a better war , so much at stake, If Usyk wins he could retire, there's nothing more to Achieve Love The Channel Henry 💯👌

Man I have to disagree about the showboating, I feel like some people feel more comfortable showboating out of nervousness almost like a tick. You can deffo tell Tyson was nervous hence the showboating, don’t really think it was some nefarious tactic
@davidfairweather33012 ай бұрын
I think it’s both. I think he was nervous and him showboating allows for him to make it seem like he’s doing better than he is. This calms him as it gives off the vibe that he’s performing well and winning points with the judges and the audience. There’s no other reason to flick out a lazy jab and then look at the crowd for approval and make faces other than if you’re trying to get their approval.
@BigPLtd2 ай бұрын
@ I have a small feeling going to corner and doing all that was a tactic. I know he was tryna get that left hook off it, generallly tho I can tell people been telling him from the beginning of this career ‘you can’t do all the showboating on the biggest stage’ so I guess apart of him is fighting that ‘stereotype’. I feel like the unruly and sporadic nature of fury makes him a good fighter, the showboating which he’s been doing from the beginning was just on full mode since he was nervous and what I said prior. Tryna fool the judges and crowd is stretch since tbh everyone can see what’s going on. Nowadays showboating is losing you rounds, people see thru it so I don’t see him doing it for those reasons
