I give the finale an 8.5 cause too many questions left, especially how did the Sup hear about the Jedi being traitors, or, anything at all in the last 100-200+ years, and we at least needed to know why the planet was so isolated all that time. Overall, 9.5.

There were around 10,000 Jedi when order 66 was given. There were Jedi who survived we know by name. But there were some ( like the poor guy who got it in Kenobi) that we did not know .... Jod Nanawood could have been found by any of the unnamed Jedi who survived.

Its a show for kids. Being an adult and watching it brought back some of those early Star Wars feelings. I think the actors all did great and deserve an 8.5/10 for the whole show. I wish Disney would stop with short episodes and make longer ones (even if they spend some time developing characters/back story without CGI battles etc). Kids these days deserve a show like this so they should make more seasons. Its way better than the Acolyte and that budget was like 4x this shows.

9.5/10! Best episode of the season! Overall such an amazing series! The question becomes: Was it good enough to exist on it's own (ie: Rogue One). And yes, we'd love a lot of answers, but sometimes life (and fiction) is about the unanswered questions. Sometimes, less is more, and I love these characters, but - Make Season 2 of Skeleton Crew an anthology and tell another good Star Wars story elsewhere in the Galaxy - again, no hooks to the current lore and no cameos.

This raises the question. How did Jod make it away from the Inquisitors? They were still kidnapping force sensitive children at that time. They should have sensed his force sensitivity when they killed his "Master" So how did he get away? Is this a plot hole, or an intentional mystery. Also. Wim not a jedi. He definitly wants to be an X-wing pilot now. As for Jod post Ep:8. Id wager a few credits hes made a tactical retreat and we will see him again someday. If he can escape the Inquisitors, and Pirates, he can elude kids, and the New Republic.

SC started out as a cheap cut out with Disney TV iCarley level characters and writing, that seemed more like a short video that would play for the people in line for a Disney Park ride, but it gets serious when high level charismatic actor JUDE LAW shows up. The PIRATE stuff was a little hard to choke down, ( another DISNEY Ride ) but I guess they committed to the GOONIES template they were "borrowing". The episodes do get better and better, capturing the fun, but also high stakes these kids keep falling into. The writers did well to steer clear of the MARY SUE GIRL BOSS trope that has been abused the last 10 years - Our girl in charge actually had a STORY ARC, she learned something out herself as di the rest of the kids and the parents. This could have easily been its own "KIDS FIND A SPACESHIP and meet SPACE PIRATES series with NO STAR WARS connection, like Guardians of the Galaxy, or THE EXPLORERS and it would have FELT the same The 2 things DISNEY got right ANDOR and ROGUE ONE, maybe some MANDO by farming it out to real directors and writers who LOVE and have seen OG SW.

It’s a really great show and I’m thrilled to see a solid entry to the Star Wars universe. They really had a great idea here and it’s about time although I for one didn’t think some of the shows over the past few years were as bad as many like Obi-Wan and Boba Fet. Nevertheless I did think this episode was slightly disorganized with the story. One moment Jod is saying he doesn’t want to hurt anyone the next moment he’s saying to begin the invasion??? Why waste all this time invading?? I thought their objective was to get as many credits as they could and leave ??? Surely they would’ve known that trying to take over the plan would never hold up in the long run. Oh well I don’t think he was captured however and we will see him again. Definitely think there should be a second season maybe even a third but let’s get a second first .

Thank you for the video and your assessment, but I must confess that I cannot share this enthusiastic perspective. To me, The Skeleton Crew felt trivial, tedious, and pieced together from fragments of The Goonies, Stranger Things, E.T., and similar works, yet without capturing their quality or magic. I admit that I am not a fan of Star Wars content aimed at children (Ewoks, Noti, Jar Jar Binks, young Anakin, young Leia, etc.), but I have no objection to such children's series existing. The Star Wars universe ought to be vast enough to accommodate them. However, this does not alter the fact that I found this series wholly unappealing. The plot is a lacklustre, somewhat far-fetched tale of four precocious, rebellious children who create a massive mess but ultimately manage to outwit the villain, a washed-up pirate, and save their home. For young children, it is likely too intense; for adults, utterly dull. Connections to previous series and films, which many fans would undoubtedly have appreciated, were conspicuously avoided, resulting in an isolated narrative. Following the mixed reviews for Obi-Wan Kenobi and Ahsoka, and the immense backlash surrounding The Acolyte, it seems Disney sought to steer clear of provoking the lore purists and the various professional detractors once again. The owl-like creature Kh'ymm, in my view, could have easily been replaced with the comparable character Maz Kanata, thus forging a link to the sequels. Similarly, the Republican pilots and military figures could have featured cameos from familiar characters like Garazeb Orrelios or Hera Syndulla, among others. As this remains a topic of heated debate among fans: Overall, I must say that I found The Acolyte to be less disappointing than The Skeleton Crew (the term "better" feels inappropriate here, as I do not count myself among those who loved The Acolyte). However, we had collectively expected an overambitious 150% from The Acolyte, only for the series to deliver a meagre 50%. This disappointment, I believe, significantly skews perception. In contrast, I had set my expectations for The Skeleton Crew at a modest 50% from the outset, and the series delivered around 45%. This lower bar leads one to think, “It was Okay...,” even though it is not truly good. From The Acolyte, I am left with lingering disappointment and frustration over wasted potential, clumsy Jedi, and a few genuinely poor female performances. Yet I also retain the memory of the undeniably cool villain Qimir, who embodied many Sith qualities more credibly and practically than many other Star Wars antagonists, as well as the superbly portrayed, deeply ambivalent and twisted Jedi Master Sol. From The Skeleton Crew, however, I am left with... nothing.
