Very nice review as usual. After this helpful review, I can say with no doubt that the HJC 90S Carbon is still the best modular out there. Testing the AGV, C5 and 90S for comfort and safety, made me buy the 90S for 450.00 US. Zero regrets, so far. The best helmet I have ever had till today after 30 years of riding. You guys rock !!!

Great video as usual! I read something on this helmet on a forum, so now it´s finally there± and it is pretty decent from what I understand from your review. For which riding styles is the helmet suited exactly?

What about the dynamic weight ? They claimed zero weight at 130 km/hr speed . Will this eliminate the disadvantage of the 1665 grams static weight ???

Good review! What is the difference between fiberglass and carbon?

Thank you for your response. Carbon is more lightweight and a stronger material. Therefore less material is needed to reach the same strength.

HIII....Is your ventilation test is valid for driving in the city in very low speed? or the ventilations in the helmet only makes a differents in high roads?

How does the chinstrap positioning do in comparison with the AGV Sportmodular ? I would have bought the Sportmodular already 2 years ago - BUT, the chinstrap is too close to my throat and is really uncomfortable quickly.

I now have a helmet with 3 shell sizes, but i am looking for a new one to buy. Is there a huge difference between 3 and 2 outer shell sizes and what do you recommend me to buy?

Hello Paul, we do prefer 3 outer shell sizes. This is because a helmet that comes in 3 shell sizes is not only safer, but it also fits more compactly around the head and it has a nicer appearance.

I like your reviews. Your testing methodology is good. But, your test rider sure must have a special head, as every helmet fits him! The one thing that you never talk about is the most important criteria for helmets - their internal shape. All the flash visors, great venting and wonderful noise attenuation is pointless if the thing doesn't fit your head shape.....

Hello, our rider wears his size, and the fit doesn't influence the performance of the criteria we test. We disagree that this is the most important, actually we don't feel it is even that important as you describe. We test 100s of helmets and over the years and all the experience we have gained, nothing has come up that suggest that "fit" influences the fit. We have several people riding with several helmets and the scores are identical. We read your comment on some forums every now and then but we can assure you that this isn't the case.

@@Championhelmets Perhaps you misunderstood. My point is that all helmets (and heads) have different shapes. A helmet that fits one person will not necessarily fit another. Yesterday, I tried on 15 high end helmets from all the manufacturers. All were uncomfortable (from mildly annoying to can't-get-it-on), bar one. The Neotec 2. I was pleased to read your review where the neotec 2 won, however, if it didn't fit me, the features are of no consequence.....

Hello Martijn, thank you. It depends on your budget. Both helmets are solid. If you have more to spend then the Sportmodular would be the better option thanks to its extreme lightweight. However, the difference with Tourmodular isn’t that big. The Tourmodulat is a lot more budget-friendly.
