Bruh I’m not a kid but I used to watch Courage the cowardly dog basically any time possible. I also watched Coraline. I watched 9 religiously. I enjoyed many Tim Burton films and just any dark bit in animated media. Now I STILL have an extreme thirst for dark ‘kids’ cartoons

I still don't understand how the creators were like yeah, this is definitely appropriate for kids and will not give anyone nightmares! This show was always about teen love at in a scary setting to represent how scary your first love and girlfriend can be. Without the whole identity issue that every other show goes through.
