Really enjoy your videos, and learn what I can to try and apply to the humble beginnings of my free diving adventures. I got the lung squeeze at 17m also... even 5 years into freediving..... firstly im suffering to some degree of kyphosis which is impossible to fix, secondly extremely poor head position ( also looking up) - its really hard to keep the head position when inside wrecks, caves, etc, thirdly - huge gaps between each time I dive, id say I dive on average even 2-3months - so no practice for months, then suddenly diving. I really want to fix this issue some how, As I find its getting worse as im getting older. I guess i know how to fix and improve it (dive more often, stretch before diving, maintain head position, minimise head movement, relax) , just somehow when Im at the dive site im so excited to dive i forget everything..... Thanks for the video. learned a ton

Dear Mr. Aharon, firstly I thank you so much for picking my question and answered it in detail. And yes! you said my name correctly :-) You are right about the need of more background information on my diving experience. Although I may not be a beginner in pool, I am really a beginner in depth/sea in which my PB for depth is just 13m, and had just be in the sea for less than 5 trips. I have equalisation issue on my right ear and as of now I couldn't dive more than 13m. Before, I didn't even succeed in doing frenzel but after watching your frenzel video and some tweakings, I am now able to do frenzel to 13m and still trying to progress further. Thus, for my question, my intention is more towards leisure diving in the sea to stay underwater in a decent time (not too long but not too short either), with more stability (not floating up when not finning) to watch marine lives and for photography purposes. however, after hearing your answer, I realized that my question seems like a stupid question :-D perhaps, a better question is not 'doing an exhale dive' but instead a not full breath or even f.r.c dive like done by photographers and spearfishers. one of the reasons for my question is also because of weighting. currently, I am with a 1.5mm elios, but I need about 3kg to have neutral buoyancy at 10m perhaps because of body fat :-D. I am embarased as it may not be a real issue to be addressed here but as stated in my question, I felt extreme tightness when trying not a full lungs dives. last 2 weeks, I stayed at 5m in pool and do bubble rings and soon when air is reduced, I felt the extreme tightness on my chest and back, and the sore sensation stays with me for few days after. So I thought that my lungs and diaphragm are not prepared for such pressure. Nevertheless, I appreciate your taking time to still advice me on yogic practise; uddhiyana banda and the hipotencion exercises. I think this will help me with the tightness issue. Thank you again sir, appreciate your effort and energy spent to answer our questions. I also learn lots from others' questions too. Looking forward for next q&a opportunity.

+radziahradzi There are no stupid questions only stupid answers ! Look ,I am the world's slowest 1 finger typist so it is difficult to answer some questions that may need more information , however any evening you see me on line ( I am GMT +2 ) you can call me on SKYPE or on FB messenger and we can chat ,and hopefully cover more ground that way .I will do all I can to help .
