I just bought the book last week from my local bookstore here in N Z . What a great book, highly recommend. Your comment on things not fitting when you sit down, oh my goodness that happened to me recently and I was like, whats going on this skirt is almost too small when I sit. Needing more room through the hip area when you sit is something that never occurred to me! I raised the waist on my last two dresses, what a difference! It had never occurred to me to do that before. I’m sure I’ll learn much more as I go through your book!

So sorry I couldn't make the live event but thank goodness for this recording. Being in the UK I already have the book, love it and have started tweaking my current patterns whilst I trace out the new ones. I think I got a bit carried away this summer as made 31 new dresses most of which were Uptons and Upton variations but with a few Lennox & Rivermont thrown in. Delighted to try the Fox hill next and gathering my courage to attempt the Magna - it looks a great pattern, I've made trousers before but...... now I know where to start adjusting to get them to fit rather than always having to have lumpy elastic. Jenny you are a genius thank you for sharing xx
