You are absolutely right about the zipper. Thanks for point8ng out that detail. That's an example of modern day skimping on the quality of things, on a basic level. There was a practical reason why zips extended generally (once upon a time). It allows you to open the opening fully and not put a strain on the end of the zip causing it to tug and break.

I have the multi pochette in the kaki strap color and I LOVE LOVE it so much! I have a hack for using the gold chain with the larger pochette that I just wanted to share with you in case you want to use the larger pochette by itself as a small shoulder bag. I purchased some Carabiner O Snap Clip Spring Key rings from Amazon in the 16mm size in gold. The O ring will clip the chain and D ring on the larger pochette together and now you have another functional way to wear your bag. Enjoy!!!

TFS, it is rather disappointing how Louis Vuitton will consciously allow such a design fail to limit the usage of the bag which could have been totally avoided if they just put the lobster clasp on one of the ends of the chain and kept the other on the bag so you could interswitch them. It is absolutely beyond me why they would stick 2 lobster clasps on one bag. I'm glad you found a creative way to fix the design flaw, it's just unfortunate they charge so much for something that limits the usage of it.

I got the same bag and love it, but I noticed the zippers on all three pieces are not very smooth as is typical with LV, especially on the largest pochette, that one feels very rough when you zip/unzip; is yours like that?

This is really growing on me! I think you make it look so good i don't think I would use the coin purse for coins either, i would definitely use it for lipstick or maybe a few bills. A Heated Mess OMG yes please do a Pandemic bag special kind of video and that would be awesome with the immense knowledge that you have. My birthday is coming up on Saturday and initially I had planned to get a Mom Mono done or a world tour Speedy 30 B but then this whole pandemic thing has happened and we haven’t been out of the house at all. I think for our work it might not even be the start or mid of next year. I think my priorities on getting and using a bag have changed so drastically. I just need a hands free grab and go that still carries my full size zippy maybe and sunglasses along with keys, phone and a hand sanitizer. I have just packed away my other beautiful big bags cause there is no reason to pull them out. There are also talks here that in Melbourne once the restrictions open up we might just get to go to outdoor dining areas and not so much inside ones which I don’t mind but it is a change from earlier😊 By the way your knowledge of LV and Law together is absolute entertainment ♥️

Personally, I'm glad these don't have the extended zipper, because on my PA and Mini PA, the dangling zipper rails have shown a lot of wear and tear. The one on my PA, which is almost 20 years old, has started ripping across where it's sewn to the vachette tab. They're just thin fabric, and really not durable enough to be left dangling there where they will get twisted and caught on things.
