Cindy, is there a reason why a sales associate will not let a person know the bag is fake or counterfeit if in fact it is? I imagine it's company policy, but do you know the reason?

I love your videos and appreciate your experiences. HOWEVER, as an employer I would be EMBARRASSED to sell small leather goods for 10s of thousands of dollars just to pay my employees less than 100k a year. Shame on greedy billionaires. We need to stop supporting these businesses if we want better working environments.

I brought a completely authentic 35 year old cosmetic bag into the store to have a zipper replaced. The sales associate told me it ‘wasn’t in our market’ I said if you were insinuating this bag is not real, it is real. It is just older than you. I had to actually call customer service and have them send me a UPS shipping label to send the bag back for repair

Thank you so much, Cindy!! I love Louis Vuitton so much! What I love about it is the history, exclusivity and the styles. There is a reason why there are so many counterfeit LV bags; and why LV sues others for copying them. Since I am not wealthy, in the sense that I don't have big bucks to spend on all the bags I want, I had never visited an LV store. I thought they'd know right away that I was there only to look and wouldn't be spending thousands of dollars. Well, in one of your videos, I think it was the "creme fraiche" 🤣 video, you said something like just go in and ask for what you want. I did that the other day and had such a great time. The SA was so nice! I recently purchased a second hand January 1987 LV Marley GM clutch in near perfect condition; just one pocket needs repair on the lining that is peeling a little! The SA told me to bring it in for repair!!

You don't have to buy! You can go in and try whatever you want without buying and people do that all the time and it's considered ok! l do that myself all the time ;)

My speedy 25 has been “repair in process” for over 2 months and isn’t estimated to be done till November! I’m having a full vachetta replacement done, but still!! I assume they are short staffed like everywhere.

Just replacing the vachetta handles on mine, but in retrospect I wish I’d waited until I needed more. My Cite straps need replacing too, but I think I’ll send it elsewhere…

I have a comment to add on your robbery story. I’m glad at least you or no one there was placed in danger, it sucks when people steal but at the very least they didn’t hurt anyone in the process. This happened at Tory Burch a few times when I worked there, people can be so shady. 🙄

Here’s a tip for everyone if you want a item repaired and you don’t want to go through the hassle of trying to convince them it’s real or being told no you can contact Louis Vuitton directly and they will send you a shipping label and you can just mail your item directly to Louis Vuitton repair. I have found that email is the quickest way to have things get sent out and returned.

A friend of mine was a manager at an in-store LV boutique. She told me that they had a robbery wherein the thieves cut the metal cord used to hold the purses in the display and walked off with them (it was a busy Saturday, and the in-store boutique is relatively close to one of the department store's doors). Once the SAs and manager realized what had happened, they called the police, but, apart from reviewing the video and taking a report, not much was done.

Bought a LV in Europe and I didn't realize it was damage on the inside. The leather is peeling off. It has spots where the leather is discolored. The store wants to charge me tax in USA for an exchange. Is this true? How are they charging me for a damage good?

LV does actually authenticate bags! When you take them in to get repaired if it’s not an authentic bag they will not fix it. So anytime I get a used or vintage bag I take it to have all the leather replaced. And when it comes back to me in a nice box and dust bag with a receipt that matches the serial code number I feel much better and it also makes it in turn easier for me to sell.

I love your videos. I have to say - I don't understand the pricing of LV. I have the Pochette Metis (reverse), OnTheGo GM, Cluny MM and the Carryall. The Carryall is the least expensive, but seems it should be the most expensive. The Keepalls are also less. Doesn't make sense. Would love your thoughts on how the price.

Absolutely do not understand why anyone is interested in this brand, i worked for LV and it is far from being glamourous, the products suck beyond any limit, i had sooo many clients buying products and coming back with them broken after not only one week... 😑 Its a horrible brand , horrible conditions for employees and bullshit clients thinking they were buying luxury when in reality they paid money for garbage , shein kind of quality , aaaahaha people are SO STUPID !!
