Well, I only agree partly here. Let explain. Firstly, polygamy itself has not been present in many Muslim cultures. Secondly, the Quran only talks about marrying more than one ONLY to do justice to the orphans. We don't live in such times anymore. Thirdly, I have seen no statistic or research that says women outnumber men. Even so, we still live in a time where a woman can easily be married to one man. Fourthly, you talk about how would anyone know who the father is if a woman has more than one husband. Well, how would anyone know who the mother is with polygamy? Also, you say if women are married to more than one man, then men would fight over her. Well, have you not seen those "women killer" documentaries? A jealous wife murders her husband's lover, or the lover murders the husband's wife. What you said can easily be attributed to women as well. And finally, you say that men "cheat" or have women on the "side". Well those are THOSE men. They are not Muslim. They have that lifestyle because of their haraam upbringing. No reason to attribute this to Muslim men.

Sub Han Allah, has made polygyny halal but the majority of the sisters are not up for it... soon it will be 50 women to ONE man, whoa...& Allaah (SWT) knows best...
