Putting names up for protection is against the sunnah of our beloved Nabi Moeghamad (S.A.W) & it's Shirk, because you need ask Allah for protection against what ever bothers you, remember if Allah protects you no one can harm you but if wants to harm you no one can protect you

Call it for what it is brother. It’s Shirk. Then you might as well, put those black necklaces around your neck with ayatul kursi on as the people do. I can’t seem to fathom how putting names up by your front door protects you. Allah and Allah alone can protect us from all, and Him alone do we call upon.

First. Your video title is somewhat of a clickbait title in my opinion. Had the title been "agree" instead of "vs" it would be more telling of the content. Second, how does your father know that it was the names that brought him these unexplained benefits? Cape Town is moving further away from the authentic Sunnah...may Allah guide us to the correct aqeeda.

Recently the mufti said you can make dua to the Prophet. He says his son did it in Madinah. Not sure if you've seen the clip. The mufti is getting wilder and wilder. And people must just be quiet and follow because "he has knowledge". Allaahul musta'aan.

You must be confused. You can’t make dua to Rasulullah. I’m sure Mufti Abdurahmaan said you can make tawassul as in ask by the essence (dhaat) or rank and status by the name etc of Rasulullah. The proof for this is from a Sahih Hadith in Tabrani in which gave the wording of such a dua to a blind man. He asked Rasulullah to make dua for him. Rasulullah eventually told him to go home, make proper wudu, make 2 rakaat nafl, the make the specific dua. ‘oh Rasulullah, I turn to Allah by you (the essence of the Muhammad) in my need. Oh Allah, I turn to you by Muhammad the Messenger of Mercy in my need…’ How is this Shirk if we have a Sahih Hadith which Rasulullah taught to use him as an intermediary in the dua? Besides that, you will go to your mother, father, grandfather, grandmother, the Imam or a pious person to make dua for you. Isn’t it better to have Rasulullah ask Allah for you. What is more beloved to Allah, your broken deeds or Rasulullah. Remember you, your actions and Rasulullah are Allahs creation. Rasulullah is Habibullah, the most beloved to Allah and the best thing a person can turn to Allah by. Also, Mufti Abdurahmaan doesn’t speak on his own hawaa, he gives the views of the Imaams of Ahlus Sunnah and he will give you proofs from the books of the Imaams. Please don’t accuse my teacher of being a Zindeeq.

Assalaamu Alaykum brother hope all is well , I just want to encourage us all , when we see a problem with a brother or disagree with him , let's discuss it with him and makes things clear privately with Adab, ironically this message cannot be sent privately but this video can't be be called VS if there's only one person battling and the other doesn't even know while busying himself trying to serve the ummah, we don't need to refute our brothers publicly damaging their honor , mufti abdurrahmaan Khan is a scholar of tasowuuf , its a tareeqah many of us might not understand but they come from a great line of Scholars like imam Ghazali who's a giant in islam who has work which we all benefit from without even knowing, I'm not a sufi by the way , their methods might seem unorthodox but their aqeeda is sound , there are extremist in every avenue though, my message was is not to insult or out of rage , the name of this video is very misleading if you didn't mean to refute a Muslim brother

There is so much to read about the Salafies Atharies khawaariej shia Achmadis The jahmiya The mutazila and the jabriyah The asharies The maaturiedies The berelwies The deobandies The wahabis We grew up only knowing the ratiepies and the Saman werkers and the tabliegies Now adays there is so much more names of groups Life was simpler then...... Today one side is the ibn taymiyah side and the other is the Ghazali Razi side and im left in the middle being even less than a layman

I’ve heard some of these names and heard of some of the things they do, but I don’t bother delving too much into it , as long as your aqeedah is firm and you have a genuine intention to please Allah you will find the right way. Why read what others are doing when we don’t fully understand our Sunni schools of thought (this is my mind set) but it is interesting to hear what others believe and do as claimed to this of the shahada also But if you have any video lectures of these other groups or Sunni scholars speaking about them please share them.

Bid'ah means something that has been introduced into the RELIGION of Allah that has no general or specific basis to support it. Using a cellphone, Laptop, Aeroplane is thus not Bid'ah

Bid'ah in deen is different to Bid'ah in the dunyah. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, warned us during every Friday khutbah about staying awaking from Bid'ah and that all Bid'ah in Religion is misguidance. Emphasis on all Bid'ah, there is no such thing as a good Bid'ah all Bid'ah is misguidance that leads one to the hellfire.
