Ahmad killed it to. Ras Kass had such a ground swell, as Ahmad seemed to disappear right after this project. I know heads wanted more Ahmad after this, but that Back in the Day single was the only thing that moved, not his album.

When I first heard this song, hands down, Ras Kas had the best first. Listened to it a decade later and concluded Saafir had the best flow. Now 30 years later, to me, Ahmad actually had the slickest wordplay. In a nutshell, this song is still pure butane 🔥
