Everybody seems to be "from" Pittsburgh. I was born in McKeesport (suburb of Pittsburgh). Why are so many people "from" there instead of going TO Pittsburgh? Is it a place to get away from? No, I don't want to go back.

People from Pittsburgh are very proud of their heritage and Jamal is not an exception. And many great jazz musicians came out of Pittsburgh, like Ray Brown, Erroll Garner and Ahmad himself.
