The jews won't even think twice to consider if the person really a god or not. So it's a complete ignorance of time period, culture, mindset of the people if you are demanding literal proof that Jesus claim "I am God" Jesus mission is to fulfil what's been prophecied as through His perfect sinless life to be the ultimate sacrifice for sin of all people therefore as ultimate redeemer so that humanity can have direct relationship with God personally through His victorius resurrection as proof death cannot consume what is holy and sinless. Therefore it's not Jesus mission nor His interest to proclaim that He is God to stiffneck jews n non believers. Also it is much more credible and standard test of credibility if others testify that Jesus is God rather than the person himself saying "I am God". A person real identity is judge through his/her action. Therefore what's credible is through action showing that he is God and people who can see, they can testify with full certainty that Jesus is God and as the coming Messiah.

Mark 10:18 - read the verse properly my guy, not with the muslim glasses. The man addressed Jesus as 'good teacher'. A mere teacher is not 'good (sinless)' off their own accord. Jesus' rhetoric also shows that he is once again claiming to be God. Because he corrects the man and essentially conveys that he is much more than a 'good teacher'. RHETORIC. Read and understand. Don't be ummi. Read John 5:30 with John 1:18 and John 5:19. John 5:18 says that nobody has ever seen God except the Son, which would make Jesus God, in unity with the Father. The Son has emptied himself and come to earth as a servant (Philippians 2:5-11), and is in submission to the will of the Father, as the Father rules over all flesh. John 20:17 - yeah and if you notice the wording, Jesus says "my Father", and the Jews pick up the stones again because saying "my Father" is claiming to have a personal close relationship with God (read John 10:30 "I and the Father are one"). John 17:3 - stop playing games buddy. Read 2 verses before, Jesus says "glorify your Son, that your Son may glorify you". Which prophet looks at God and says 'glorify me so that I will glorify you'????? All the prophets praise God and deny worship. But 2 verses before the verse you misquoted, Jesus asks God the Father to glorify him... Maybe look up John 17:3 scripture twisting and understand how silly your claim is. Bro how can you quote Matthew 15:9 and say that...? where's your sense man? READ THE ACTUAL VERSE! Don't be ummi like your prophet. The verse is referencing the prophecy in Isaiah 29:13 which speaks of how the Pharisees and chief priests think they are men of God, but their worship is in vain because they just try to follow human rules. This is what islam is after all. You just have a pay to win system where your works gets you to heaven and your god wants u to just lose sleep and stay hungry and worship. Maybe read John 20:28-29 where Thomas the disciple worships Jesus and Jesus affirms Thomas' praise.

The challenge I'm offering right now is show me a single verse in the entire Old Testament where anyone other than Yahweh gives the Spirit. You won't find it. That's because this is a signature act of Yahweh alone in the OT. Ironically, in Acts 2:17-21, Peter quotes Joel 2:28-32 about the Father and Son, identifying them both as the one God of Israel who pours out the Spirit. And this Spirit isn't some mere active force, he's the God of Israel according to 2 Samuel 23:1-3, while being a distinct person (not distinct being / god) from the Father and Son.

Jesus as well. Even after the crusifiction when his desciples say: "Now you speak in no allegory, you are very direct" Jesus doesn't say "I am a god, and I am a part of trinity As for "I was before Abraham means hat he was created before Abraham. What if this text means my soul had existed before the flesh of Abraham existed. If you see the context of that debate Jesus was saying God can create out of stones children of Abraham. How about the greek word ego eimi? Is it the same as Ex “I am who I am”. No, because the very same words were used by the blind man in John 9:9. In the same debate Jesus said, “I am a man who heard the truth of God”. It is much more explicit than John 8:58. Finally, it becomes more obvious that Jesus never claimed divinity when the strongest text Chrisitans use is very implicit. God is very clear when things relate to life eternal like John 17:3.

I’m also guessing I’m not the first person to have given you the gospel either. Salvation is a free gift. That’s the difference between being truly born again and every other religion on the planet because every one is a works based religion. Jesus said there is nothing you can do to save yourself. Jesus was crucified for blasphemy. The Jews of His day knew He was stating that He was God the Son which, to them, was blasphemy. Since the Koran affirms the Torah and Gospel, you are skating on thin ice if you criticise what is in the Bible. There is more evidence for the accuracy of the Bible than for any other book ever written, including the Koran which has thousands of “holes in it” ( to quote Yasir Kadhi)

Learning about he Dead Sea scrolls has given me a few new responses. In Surah 61:6 Jesus says he confirms the Torah that he holds between his hands. I'm having some fun with this, seeing as almost 50% of the Dead Sea Scrolls are just Pentateuch. When they say the Torah has been changed, I show them not according to Jesus. And you know the suggestion that injeel must mean the original Aramaic recitation or text? I point out that Jesus called his good news "baser" not "injeel" based on Luke 4:17, Luke 4:43 and the Isaiah Dead Sea Scroll - so we know exactly what what he read off the scroll. If the Quran wanted to indicate the verbatim Aramaic that Jesus spoke, it should have used the Arabic word bash'r - not injeel. Bash'r is the Arabic cognate of baser. Injeel is derivative of euangelion - which is a Greek word, composed of Greek roots, and also the original name in Greek of the canon gospels. If the Quran had wanted to indicate the original Aramaic words of Jesus then injeel was the exact wrong word to choose. Also when they make much of Deuteronomy 6:4 so do I. "YHWH elohienu YHWH echad" YHWH is God (first-person, plural) YHWH is one/composite unity So the plural form of elohienu, and echad (instead of yachid) both accommodate (and support) a Trinitarian reading. And the Dead Sea scrolls confirm this hasn't been corrupted. Manuscript 4Q43-Deuteronomy confirms the shema at 50 BC (c.f. Surah 61:6 "between my hands")
