Using a verse like this to condemn the Bible is deceitful because it in no way suggest these are commands to men, since God is addressing a sinful nation, condemning their sinful actions. Muslims consistently misuse verse context in their deceit to mislead the ignorant masses, here just the one verse is conveniently quoted, but the context is ignored. Ezekiel 16:23-30 are God's answers to man's rejection of his word...and it becomes evident when reading through the context of these verses why God say this. 🚩In Ezekiel, God tells the Israelites what they are truly like...comparing these people to whores because in their harlotry they have turned from God to the worship of idols, he compares them to prostitutes because they consistently jump from god to god (God uses strong words to describe his displeasure with them). 🚩Deedat fools the ignorant masses with his misuse of one single verse claiming it is vulgar but when the context is known, God is justified in the words he uses...since He knows the "wrong" that men do. Using a verse like this to condemn the Bible is deceitful because it suggest that God should carefully pick and chose the words that will not offend, when his objective is to condemn those that have broken his commands and rejected his teachings. In these verses God is addressing a sinful nation, condemning their sinful actions and he uses language that shows his displeasure (God is the creator, one that does not have to be politically correct in addressing mankind...so why does Deedat call this verse "vulgar"? Is he better than God at choosing his words?). Muslims consistently misuse verse context in their deceit to mislead the ignorant masses, here just the one verse is conveniently quoted, but the context is ignored. At least these many verses in Ezekiel 16:23-30 have to be read to understand the context why God says what he says... 🚩In Ezekiel, God tells the Israelites what they are truly like...comparing these people to whores because in their harlotry they have turned from God to the worship of idols, he compares them to prostitutes because they consistently jump from god to god (God uses strong words to describe his displeasure with them). 🚩Deedat fools the ignorant masses with his misuse of one single verse claiming it is vulgar but when the context is known, God is justified in the words he uses...since He knows the "wrong" that men do. It is clear you can't defend what I shown from the Quran, instead attack Biblical verses...but unlike the Quran, the Bible can be defended. From the "context" of these verses, God never commands anything without justification (and these are linked to continued sin by those mentioned without any regret for their sins). As the creator of the world, God alone is man's judge and he judges man with righteousness,...punishment from God is nothing new: 1. he flooded the earth because of man's continued "sin", saving just one righteous family. 2. he removed Sodom & Gomorrah after these cities continued to sin. So it is clear God only punishes those that continued to sin against him, yet gave them time to "repent" of their wrongs (but when people/nations continue generation after generation to rejects God, (from a human's perspective) he is ruthless in his punishment, but justified in his righteousness as the creator of all things). Prove from any of those verse, that God is not justified in his actions?. Unlike the Bible which has valid reasons for God's commands for punishment, the Quran issues these actions for personal gain i.e. captives, booty etc.
